My Family Has Two Big Houses… So Why Do I Choose a Tiny 14m² Room | Life in Vietnam 🇻🇳
Today, I'm visiting my grandfather and spending a normal day with my family. My grandfather is over 90 years old now, and he was the person who raised me when I was little.
Some of you have asked why I choose to rent a tiny 14m² room when my family has two much bigger houses. In this video, I want to share a little more about my family, my grandfather, and the real reasons I chose to have my own small place.
You'll also see a little more of our daily life in Vietnam, from spending time with my family and cooking together to some of the ordinary things that happen throughout the day.
My life in Vietnam is pretty simple. I currently live in a small 14m² rented room with my 3-year-old daughter. It may be much smaller than my family's houses, but for now, having our own space feels right for us.
Thank you for spending another day with me and following our life here in Vietnam. ❤️

There are a few reasons why living there is difficult for me. My grandfather’s house is also our family’s ancestral house, so it isn’t a place I can simply decide to move into on my own. Living with my dad would also be complicated for me because of my family situation. And my grandfather still doesn’t know the truth about my divorce.
I know it may be difficult to understand everything from one video. Sometimes I wish things were simpler too. For now, I’m trying to have my own small place while still visiting Grandpa, spending time with him, and caring for him whenever I can.
Thank you for caring about him so much. It really means a lot to me. ❤️
