I love me a good assimilation swarm list. It feels much stronger with the new detachment system. I’ve been running it with 3 Norns (1 emissary and two Assimilators) and the talons of the Norn queen.

Congrats on the painting award for your defiler. I'm really considering priority assets over take and hold now.

4:2 is a great score, gratz!

Feels off not seeing two norn assimilators

Hey man, congrats on the placing!
I saw you a few times on stream playing on the nerby tables. Its a shame they didnt get one of your games on stream.

Hi Craig - thank you for a great video as always 😊
Bring fairly new to tyranids, I was wondering how you handle the Rapacious Hunger strat on an assimilation unit on the competitive scene. Do people let you heal 3 or 4 wounds? The wording of the start is not exactly consistent with the army rule.

Can anyone give me a link to some winning list ideas for sub assault or point me in a direction. Imaines it in 10th and am struggling with it. Ive lost my first game in 11th with it against take and hold. I just dont know how to utilize it fully for disruption.

Interesting. Never been convinced by hive guard but I might try them after seeing this . In 10th I ran genestealers with fight first and free heroic behind a block of 20 termagaunts, but I guess fight first is weaker now. Is the surge also weaker than 10th as when you surge into somebody on their turn they can activate first now.

I'm sorry but I still cant't leave home without an Exocrine and a Tfex RC

What detachment do you recommend against really scary melee armies like World Eaters? I feel assimilation swarm would struggle because they mostly kill any monster in one activation

Vanguard operation vs recon sounds hard, as long as they have a neurolictor or some equivilent annoying unit hiding behind the ruin on the objective we cant perform the action? Looks like its hard for them to score the centre also though?
