This is such a great tip! So many of my southpaw students struggle with a writing style/setup that is comfortable for them. I have never seen this set uo before! I like how your hand remains underneath your work and is not obstructing your view as you write like lots of lefties struggle with!

I just started studying pointed pen calligraphy and I really don't know how I can do it as a left handed person. I'm definitely going to try this. Thank you!

You know, I’ve been doing mine like 45 degrees and I found out that doing 90 to 95 is even easier for me. I thought this isn’t proper and always felt bad coz I might be doing it wrong. So glad to know this is your set up too! 😃🥰

How interesting! A right oblique, used by a lefty… hmm?! I will have to try this, because trying to form an uppercase i, is rather difficult for me and requires extra effort on my part, and I’s resemble a lowercase L! I’ll have to watch more of your tutorials… Lefties unite!

As a lefty, I would be struggling to see on a different angle of paper setup :)

Do you thing over/underwriting is a habit, or a hardwired preference?
As an overwriter, I find writing away from my body somewhat more comfortable, so my concern is about whether I should make the effort to change that.
Any thoughts welcome!
