People always comment that I write at 90-degree angle. I taught myself to write like this when I was small because I kept getting bad grades in my handwriting class. This is a very satisfying interview for me. 😊

Yes, leftie here. struggling in calligraphy class. The teacher told me to reposition my chair and sit sideways to the table.  that helped

I'm left handed... And this video has really helped me.. I'm glad i found this 5 days into starting my calligraphy journey.

Thank you guy for sharing! Left handed world appreciate your impact!

I am also left-handed, but for calligraphy I learned to use my right hand.

Best info I've heard for a lefty. I've have casually lettered in the past to get some custom results for my illustration and design work but it was very frustrating just trying to get through it. My results sufficed but the experience was horrific. I stayed away from it because of the experience but after 30 years I find myself back to realizing how much I love fontography and lettering, so I am trying once more to enter in on a professional level.
Thanks again so much Klahr for sharing your experiences and detailed tips. It has given me a much better place to start from.

Still it works.this video helped me a lot. One thing more I have the leonardo davici syndrom.
As a child I learned to write with the right hand. Now I write with my left hand. I am born as a left handed person.  To write linke in the video in combination to write with mirror image makes me happy. The best thing in the world❤

I needed this video. I’m left handed and I want to teach myself. I am struggling to learn how to manipulate and control the pen. I have hope I can learn.

I love penmanship, but never could follow the old books nor use the pens because they were designed for right handed people. This is awesome!

Just starting out with calligraphy but already have to write at 90* so it’s already engrained for me. Thanks for the video!

Thank you 🖤

Interview John DeCollibus. 30 yrs as a left hand. Worked so hard to get where he is, he knows why its hard and how to show it.

Thanks! I have tried so many times and quit, but there is hope for us left handed, sadly not much information and tutorials.
But after seeing this video I got some ideas and I am giving it another try!

Verry Profi  great creative artist

Thanks a lot to master calligraphy. Got a feeling you start practicing at a early age. Right now you are way more experience than most calligrapher. Good job lo l

Awesome--Interesting--Inspiring!!!  Thank you!

Thank  you for this video. I have two left handed calligraphy students who are fustrated. My two lefty son and daughter figured out their own way over time but my current students will find much needed
encouragement from your film.

For some reason i found this video very inspiring. i dont do calligraphy, but it still was a very touching video. thank you for making it.
