#catholic #church #ewtntv A symposium on popular piety? Why? Getting to know and deepening lived faith: This is what the symposium "Popular Piety – Old-Fashioned or Missed Opportunity" invited participants to do.
Prof. Dr. Dr. Ralph Weimann, organizer and speaker of the symposium, speaks with EWTN Vatican correspondent Rudolf Gehrig about sacramentals: Effective signs of lived faith that occupy an important place in popular piety but have long been neglected by theology: blessings, ordinations, exorcisms, sacred objects – in many parts of the world, they are indispensable in people's religious lives. How can we unearth this treasure, rediscover it for ourselves, and make it fruitful?
You can also listen to the conference on our channel (see info card)!
