Dead By Daylights 10 year anniversary is finally here.. and a lot of people are disappointed. Never have I seen such a huge reaction from the community for an anniversary event, So there has to be something wrong here. In this video I show you just exactly what the issue is when it comes to the new Black Banquet event. I show both perspectives of Survivor and Killer, so we can see WHY everyone is so upset about it.

What do you think? Is it really as Survivor sided as they say?

The invisibility from killer pov is insane?? Like they really just vanish 😭

Literally it's a buffet of free spammable superpowers for the survivors and killer can sometimes slow you a little. On top of that, killers power gets disabled in endgame but survivors can hold onto morsels and use them one more time when the killer loses even their poison

The whole damn event is unbalanced, but there is a special place in hell for whoever thought of pairing invisibility and portals in the same match.

See I would just enjoy the event win or lose but when I get messages from survivors to kms cuz I lost it just makes me not wanna play the game anymore at all.

one thing that really bothers me with the event isnt the whole food buffs but the fact that once it hits dessert time if they have the plates still they can keep them and eat them later but killers poisons are taken away even the ones we didnt use so we then have no counter play to their food buffs

I’ve seen plates spawn right next to tables several times, knowing she’s map gen being awful I’m not surprised(that poor nemesis wasn’t even tier 3 by the time the gates were open)

The format of popping up perks as they trigger is really cool and helpful for newer players. But, be careful for potentially misleading info, sloppy butcher doesn't trigger when you hit someone with legion power (you did the popup right as you hit the m2/frenzy), as it only triggers from basic attacks. Legion power is a special attack and so will not trigger this effect. The power has to count as an M1, like Deathslinger, once he attacks you after shooting and reeling. Hope this helps!

It's really heavily survivor-sided, but if you play solo, it's still VERY hard to get out.

You can only play: legion smiley face add on, plague, 1 shot huntress, skull merchant, krasue (but barely). And that's it.

Everyone keeps saying the most busted one is the unbreakable pallets but nah, its teh portals. What do you mean I can go invisible, go to a portal & just disapepar? Especially when portals are powered up & make you invisble again???? There's 0 counter or mind games possible if you cannot see, hear or trace your target.

I genuinely don't have a problem with survivors having all of these effects, I just wish killers got an equal amount of effects

Personally I feel like Poisoning a food cart or a table should reverse the effect if they eat the food instead of the current poison. Like instead of invincibility they’re exposed, or instead of sprint burst they get hindered

my solution on killer was double iri Plague. She can counter every power the survivors get. Her vomit hits through the invincibility, you can hear people who are invisible, shes ranged so she can deal with the pallets and haste, and broken survivors cant get healed by the global effect. The poison bombs also let her run right up on a survivor so she can get them broken for an easy down. I pair that with Lethal, Grim Embrace/Deadlock, Secret Project, and Turn Back the Clock.
