I finally got to drive it: After two static presentations, the Silence S04 lightweight vehicle has hit the road. I did some initial test drives in Cologne and the surrounding area, and I also showed off the removable batteries. We also need to talk about the brakes! 1. Wie ist die Beleuchtung bei dunklen Verhältnissen?
2. Wie anfällig sind die Batteriekontakte gegen Nässe und sind diese korrosionsanfällig? Spätestens bei Nutzung mit nur einem Akku ist ja ein Akkufach komplett leer und alle Technik liegt schutzlos offen. Kann in dem Fall das Straßengeräusch ungehindert ins Wageninnere gelangen? Das sollte mal im Video gezeigt werden und welche Technik dann von unten beeinträchtigt werden könnte! Schätze, dass spätestens nach 2 Jahren die Anschlüsse hier unbrauchbar werden. Was passiert, wenn ich bei Eis und Schnee fahre, oder ein Schneepack von unten an den Akku stößt? Wäre da nicht ein gekapselter Akku, wie z. B. im Mobilize Duo, betriebssicherer? Oder wäre da sogar die herkömmliche Unterbringung irgendwo im Fahrzeuginnern besser?
Apropos Winter:
3. Dieses Fahrzeug, welches kein Auto sein will, soll ja vor allem in der L6e Variante den Roller im Winter ersetzen helfen. Welche Winterreifen bzw. noch besser Ganzjahresreifen kann ich denn dafür wählen? Sind diese ebenso mit asynchronen Dimensionen auszuwählen oder könnte man auch einfach alle 4 Reifen in der gleichen Größe montieren?
4. Wird ein Adapter zum Anschluss an die öffentliche Infrastruktur mitgeliefert?
5. Ist für den Preis auch ein Bremskraftverstärker an Bord oder wie wird das Bremsproblem bis zum Marktstart behoben? Besonders bei "höheren" Geschwindigkeiten empfinde ich das als nur noch eingeschränkt verkehrstauglich!
Kostet halt vom Stromverbrauch und in der Wartung fast nichts.
Bei dem Anschaffungspreis wäre allerdings ein Elektro Smart ForTwo oder Dacia Spring deutlich mehr Auto fürs Geld.
Die Dinger für 99€/Monat an Azubis zu verleasen wäre ne gute Marktlücke und hoffentlich werden solche umweldfreundlichen Konzepte in Zukunft mal von der Politk stärker gefördert, sowohl durch Kaufprämie als auch bessere Regelungen für Leichtfahrzeuge.
PS: Lenkradairbag wäre nice.

Leute die in der Stadt wohnen und keine Lust haben Unsummen fuer Ladesaeulen zu bezahlen. Solange man einen Aufzug hat, kann man so gut in der Wohnung laden. Das ist ein echtes Feature.
