I apologize I had no clue what vocaloid is and kinda still don't since it kind a sounds like AI to me? Would love to be more educated on it though, so feel free to reply to this to explain it more to me!

R．I．P．wowaka．

去过这个现场的朋友说在现场听比视频里面的效果更加震撼，她的快节奏语速把大家听呆了，高音像要冲破宇宙的光一样，这首歌结束好多人久久不能回神。❤

I’d suggest reading about what unknown mother goose meant to the original writer and creator, whom died of heart related issues in 2019. from my understanding, unknown mother goose was his last song to the vocaloid(the company that owns the robotic-like voice instrument) community. It’s a very VERY heartfelt song once you understand more of the context. I’m quite sure that Ado’s performance was an homage to his legacy as a vocaloid producer.

Apparently this was like her 17th performance during a 25 song concert or something too. Some crazy stamina.

I can see young Ado listening to Miku (non-human) and trying to sing like her, which made Ado sings basically non-human now. So have some respect for Hatsune Miku she voiced so many incredible songs 😂😂

Her genre is called “Ado”.

米国の声楽指導者が地球上最高のボーカリスト一人だと絶賛👏

You do know that Hatsune Miku is a vocaloid right? Literally a computer software. Vocaloid is a computer software that composers and producers use to create a music for their lyrics. (it's not AI, vocaloid was a thing way before AI, over a decade before. It's a voice bank where the composers literally use a collection of vocal sounds like an instrument, that's why it's kinda robotic sounding).

The voice bank called Hatsune Miku became famous among the vocaloid community and most vocaloid producers used the voice to make their songs. That's why the character became so famous. And I'm sure there's a real person that recorded the voice samples for the character but I don't know who it is.

So the original author of the song is the vocaloid producer called Wowaka, who wrote the lyrics, composed the beat, and then used the voice bank of Hatsune Miku to mix the singing.

As you know in her live performances she is usually on the move the entire time, not this time. It shows how hard this song actually is. Plus it's the 18th song of the show, diabolical!

WorlADOmination!!!!!!!!!

Hatsune Miku isn’t a real person—she’s a Vocaloid, a virtual singing voice. Anyone, from beginners to professional composers, can create songs on a computer by programming her vocals. They upload those songs online, where people can listen to them or cover them. That’s the purpose of Vocaloid: giving anyone the chance to create music with a virtual singer

This is a masterpiece from the early days of Vocaloid. The songwriter passed away at a young age, and the song itself has become legendary.

Ado真的是疯狂且勇敢的歌手!她值得一切赞美!❤❤❤

Did you check out the lyrics? They are absolutely heart-rending.

It's so funny how people reacting to current big Japanese artists like Ado, Kenshi Yonezu, YOASOBI, etc. are so clueless as to how integral Vocaloid was to all of them (and also Vtubers). Did you ever look into why Ado started singing in the first place? Who did you think was writing the songs Ado sings? Where did you think the songs that Ado and all the Vtubers covered came from? You look into the discography of who made these bangers, eight times out of ten they've made or worked on Vocaloid songs before. A large part of why Ado and other utaite got bonkers at singing was in part because within this place that encouraged pure creativity with no limitations, Vocaloid producers wrote songs that weren't intended for humans to sing and these humans would sing them anyways.

Also, Vocaloid's been around since the early 2000's. The songs are made by real people who were mostly just amateurs starting out posting the music they made online. A good number of them have also gone on to launch their own successful music careers. People get angry when you call Vocaloid songs AI because that devalues the work the producers put into creating them. The only AI involved at all is some recent specific voicebanks having a feature to help with tuning, and even then people like cillia have realistically tuned plenty of vocal synths without that.

The composer for this song was one of Kenshi Yonezu's good friends and a huge producer in the community, wowaka, who sadly passed away a few years ago. His songs had those distinctive monochrome images in each video because that was his style. There's plenty of incredible fanmade and official MVs for songs created by fantastic artists. But again, you have to understand that most Vocaloid producers were just everyday folks posting what they made online. They weren't signed by labels. They didn't have a big budget. Many incredible songs had original videos that were just stills and that was perfectly fine.

NOBODY, absolutely no one, wants 'auto-generated captions' on. Ever.

xD

The genre is Vocaloid, because Hatsune Miku is singing. But beyond that it's Jrock. I have really started to love Jrock. A lot of Vocaloid is Jrock. There are a few Vocaloid producers who are guitar players and play all the instruments. I really love Kairiki Bear he puts like 6 different guitar tracks on his songs. It's crazy. Ado covered one of his songs Darling Dance.

A great thing about Hatsune Miku is she doesn't sound human. So it's great when humans cover her songs. Suisei covered this too. Tons of people cover Vocaloid. Not just singers. The Waggaki Band did a bunch of Vocaloid covers. Ado is just the most famous.

Great reaction.

Crazy Queen Ado💙
