Honestly I love the "Life Story" concept so much that I would want to see it applied to just about any of my favorites - Batman, X-Men, Superman etc.

I'd love to see a Batman life story. But, with Dick Grayson taking the mantel some time in the 60s and with Jason Todd taking over in the 90s and Daimen 'Todd' taking over today.

Your call out at the end: I've been wanting a "Life Story" type of X-Men story for most of my life. I say "Life Story" loosely, because I actually want an ever changing roster, more like a multi-generational arc of the Xavier Institute. The first mutant book I read from issue 1 was Generation X in the 90s (when those teens were a bit older than me) and I grew increasingly frustrated that they never "graduated" to become actual X-Men and the older ones never really moved on either.

What I would realy like to read is Rick Jones Life Story

Chip Zdarsky is a odd one for me.

There’s no one quite like him that’s managed to write some of my favourite and least favourite books from the past 10 years.

I’m talking all time classics, to stuff I wish did not exist.

I’d argue it’s more good than bad, and I appreciate he’s a real full package, with great writing skill and an eye for design.

Life story is an instant classic. Gave me everything I wanted, especially a satisfying ending.

This and Hickman's Ultimate Spider-Man are some of my very favorite Spidey in a long time. While there's certainly a place for a younger, hipper Spidey, these two series show that the world is definitely ready for and accepting of an adult Peter Parker who is married with kids and still web swings.

And Chip Zdarsky is such a fantastic writer.

This was the best spider-man story ever told in the last decade, and it’s everything marvel editorial doesn’t want.
I wish they made more life story minis with other characters, we’re getting cold day in hell soon but I’d love a daredevil life story, that’d be terrific as a DD fan.

This video made me remove these issues from my "to sell" bin to re-read it.

It’s not just a great comicbook but also a great point at which a tired Spider-Man fan can just let Spidey go and say his farewells. Sooner or later you realize that your favorite character will always be stuck in a mainstream comicbook limbo and the only way is just to stop following the ongoing stories. And not many superheroes get stories such as the one Spidey got here.

What an incredible video, Chris! Spider-Man: Life Story is one of those books where, after the first time I read it, it always stuck with me and anytime I reread it I can’t help but get misty eyed towards those final pages of issue 6.

To answer your question at the end, I’d personally would like to see a Daredevil: Life Story miniseries as I feel like Matt Murdock has had such an interesting history in the decades since he debuted in 1964 that recontextualizing it through the lens of him and the world around him aging in real time could make for some compelling storytelling.

Life Story and Zdarksy's Daredevil stuff are some of my favorite recent titles. Such a good job with the characters.

The new ultimate universe shouldve been a 10 year commitment where characters age in real time.
