"I fear not someone who plays 10,000 cards once, but I fear someone who plays one card 10,000 times"

@aikoluna3480 3 years ago

The half hearted “oooh nooo” when marluxia does stuff to your cards is way more funny than it should be

I choose to believe Sora is limited to one card here because he only has one protective sleeve, and all the cards he keeps getting are so rare and valuable he can't afford to just throw them around willy-nilly.

Damn, Sora wasn't lying, his friends really are his power

“And prove to Larxene that she too has a small chance of getting hit by lightning!”
absolutely raw line

"If you're wondering what pluto does, he doesn't." This cracked. me. up.

@MythicMachina 3 years ago

For anyone who's wondering what Pluto is normally supposed to do, He's supposed to retrive some of your cards if you lose too many. Using a sleight will remove the first card in it for the rest of the battle unless you use an item card. Pluto was added as a safeguard if you completely screw yourself over. But considering this challenge only uses one card... yeah.

The strongest Yugioh decks have one card combos, so if you only have one card, all of your combos are one card combos! It's an unbeatable strategy!

"so this part was hell"
"this part was also hell"
"this bit took me a week"
"this section was torture"
"this part killed my firstborn"
"this part took me a week, i needed to ask for help, nobody helped, and i had to keept trying for several hours until i won"

"10/10, totally reccomend doing this run :D"

The cutscene where Sora tells his friends they are legally no longer his friends in this video actually had me choking on food and water at the same time from how funny you made it

@velvetbutterfly 3 years ago

"Hurry up and draw your last pathetic card so we can finish this, Sora"
"Already done. But my friends have no pathetic cards"

That Marluxia dance is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a game

Gamechamp: Wanna see me play Chain of Memories with practically no upgrades?
Also Gamechamp: Wanna see me do it again?

2:50 For anyone curious, Pluto is supposed to be a friend card variant of cards like Elixir, giving you a chance to get back cards previously sacrificed through sleights. That's why "he doesn't" do anything here, since Gamechamp only has one card in her deck.

Thank you to the Twitch chat member Reynardaonymous for the death counter of onscreen deaths of 231 for Riku 4!
That very much puts the jubilation, and insanity, into perspective.

@blazarre7251 3 years ago

Having repliku 4 being one of the hardest bosses ever on the channel, then going straight into larxene 2, I could feel the pain.

@svanation9215 3 years ago

Gamechamp giving an exact play by play guide like anyone else is insane enough to actually try this

Vexian being resistant to Fire was one of the top plot twists of my gaming life

I recently realized how much I’d love to see you try a level 1 run of 358/2 Days. Mainly because, since levels are panels you have to add to your deck, not only can you just not equip levels, but every level you don’t equip is a slot you can use for something else like an ability or item. In fact, given a lot of challenge missions have level caps, that’s something to keep in mind even for casual players.

That sleight of Vexen's that has the long startup time is called Freeze. He makes the entire screen turn white, and if you don't Dodge Roll at that exact moment, Sora gets frozen in a block of ice and you have to mash buttons to break out. Marluxia's Phase 2 super-duper sleight is Drop Shot - he jumps high in the air and slams down, cracking the floor.
