This video is brought to you by Universal Music LLC who Copyright struck the first SIX attempts to upload it because they own Hikaru Utada's soul. Please enjoy the approximately 10 seconds of Simple and Clean they so graciously allowed me to play.

This month, my Patrons get early access to the final, 16-hour version of this project as a single video. Think of it as the Final Mix edition of the Kingdom Hearts Breakdown.

8:03, I love the implication that the pretty stone came from the destroyed Destiny Island.

The amount of views this series gets is criminal. It's the only game breakdown channel I've watched that actively makes me feel something. It's not just some background noise while I eat dinner, I'm engaged, enthralled, and I even shed a tear here and there.

Can't wait to see what comes next.

holy shit, i never noticed the chimes in the end of the world were dearly beloved. over 20 years later and this game still puts me in awe

"Say fellas, did somebody mention absolute cinema?"

@HerotonVA 7 months ago

it's wild how Ansem's lab turned out to be super important lore NEARLY 20 YEARS LATER. Thanks Union X.

I always thought those worlds were a reflection of sora's heart! A reflection of his memories as he goes through each portal.

@CoBud91 7 months ago

Okay that detail about Ansem not having a shadow but the Dark Figure has one I never noticed and that is fucking me up a little. Maybe he really did had this all figured out from the beginning 😂

Chernabog did have a voice in the House of Mouse though. I remember actually losing my mind as a kid getting to fight him as Sora, getting to beat the Disney villain that scared me most as a kid was really cathartic.

Can one be nostalgic for something they have never experienced? Characters we’ve never met, worlds we’ve never explored, music we’ve never heard. Yes. You my friend, have taught me that. Thank you, for everything.

Please tell me there's a gallery with all of the stained glass boss arts? They're so evocative.

I can't believe I've never noticed the dark Kingdom Hearts behind the door. Now I can't unsee it lol. That's so cool!

Home is where the heart is, sora's home is with his friends, and goofy and donald's home is with king mickey, so they're sent to the same world as riku and mickey wind up in because that's where their hearts point to. It's also why pluto is there, his home is with mickey

Look at my guy getting his Mythology on when talking about Chernabog. Makes me proud!

My personal theory for the world terminus is that the different rooms are meant to be the shadows of the worlds visited. They haven't fallen to darkness, but at the point in the story, they are on the verge, and depending on their respective original worlds depends on how many heartless exist in those rooms.

Such a fantastic series, sad to see it end. I have loved kh since playing in 2002 so it’s amazing how many new things I have learned from this series. If you do this for every game I would be so happy!
