Life in Madrid in August is definitely not boring! 🇪🇸
This week is a little bit of everything: working from home, swimming in the Madrid heat, trying to stay active while recovering from a knee injury, helping my brother move into his new apartment, searching everywhere for a bicycle, spending time with my family, and trying to keep up with everything that's happening.
I'm still recovering from bone edema in my patella, which means I can't run yet. Since running is off the table for now, I'm trying to maintain my fitness through swimming and cycling while I wait for my knee to heal.
And then there's the great Madrid bike shortage! 🚲 I went to Decathlon hoping to finally get the bike I've been waiting for, only to discover that apparently everyone in Madrid has decided they need a bike this summer.
You'll also see a little bit of everyday life in Madrid, Spain, including the extreme August heat, shopping, family time, my brother's new apartment, swimming almost a kilometer, and some very exciting plans coming up.
And things are about to get REALLY busy.
I'm heading north to see the solar eclipse, we're going to look at another house in the mountains outside Madrid, my husband is moving permanently to Spain, and then we're heading out of Madrid again!

I love your vlogs!! You make me want to start vlogging and documenting my life again. We're the same age but I really don't do very much. Editing my vlogs takes so much time because I think too much. lol It would be easier if I can edit on my iPad or iPhone while on the go vs waiting to get home to edit using Final Cut Pro on my Mac. What do you use to edit your videos?
