This is one of two of my favorite pleated skirt tutorials! I've seen videos in which they actually turn under that waistline edge before stitching it down and it still looks very nicely finished. I'm looking forward to trying this fast and easy skirt!!

I really appreciate that illustration, it was very informative to say the least. I haven't made anything in years, yet I purchased a new sewing machine a couple years ago to start back, haven't done anything yet but perhaps after watching your video I am encouraged to do so.
