When I was a baby in a crib in my parents room my mom woke up and heard some noise and she thought it was maybe me hitting the rail of my crib or something but then she realised it was a bat in the room.  She was so scared she ran out of the room and left me there. My aunt came in with a towel over her head and got me.  Then when I was about seven, my uncle came home and opened the door and a bat flew in with him. Everybody was screaming and my sister came and put a pillow over my head while they all captured and released the bat outside.  We lived in Iowa at that time.

Those leaves do look metallic.

We must be sisters…love all the goodies you haul🎉❤ keep smiling at trouble for trouble”s a bubble and bubbles will soon blow away… I’m quoting one of my father‘s favorite singers, Al Jolson… He was 52 when I was born I’m 56 right now so he was a little older I’m the youngest in the family so I was raised by a man who was a throwback to two generations ago for me lol… He had been a bull fighter in Mexico, but since he was born here, he had to serve in World War II and they put him to be a pilot flying B29 s-and a bomberdier very intelligent man, if not a genius praise the Lord… He married my mother who is 18 years younger than him she is from Chicago… Very unique couple in so many ways, and I’m glad they had souls of gold. They were never materialistic. Instead they put their attention to nurturing our minds in our spirits, and I think them so much for that. It helped me so much later in life hugs back to you cutie from South Texas.❤
