Feels like one of the first high quality videos that someone would have posted on youtube in 2005

BIG pre internet summer day vibesss

That front rack has the ultralight community drooling

So classic. This is how the internet was some 20 years ago. Cool set up, you guys had a good time. Nothing beats that.

Hell ya! With all the consumerism, marketing, advertising, and hype around expensive new equipment, this is a breath of fresh air! World travelers have been rocking a similar set up for 40 years or so, it works

This isnt even 100$ US... this is 100$ CANADIAN... thats like 65 euros... 50 quid... unbelievable.

Best timothy chalamet film I’ve seen yet

This has old school youtube vibes which I love.  Just some dudes hanging out and trying stuff

I miss YouTube videos like this, it’s chill and I actually wanted to watch the whole thing without it baiting me into doing it. Please keep making videos like these!

Either this is a reposted video from the 90s or the editing is masterfully keyed to my childhood. Every part of this video is a delight to behold.

What a pleasant escape from overly edited and scripted videos. Seeing the idea process is awesome. I dig the rough and raw format.

This is really valuable content, gently waking up the viewer to how absurd consumerism and capitalism got. It's not an angry campaign but a humble showcase of a simple, different approach, wrapped in positivity and humor. We try to solve every problem with money and more tech innovation, while creativity and a not so serious but resourceful approach is all we need. Thank You for giving me strength, hope and inspiration to carry on with my own projects. I wish you the best!

This is what GCN wishes it could be

this guy and this video give off such intense 2005 PNW vibes. love the craftiness and winging it-ness of this build, so sick

On the surface this appears to be a heartwarming story of two lads having a good time on their bikes for a few bucks. But after watching this last night i awoke to find that in my sleep I'd ordered six Nalgene bottles.

This video was like a movie. Hero's journey, character arcs, romantic subplots, I was engrossed the whole time

"Just on my way home from the brick store" 😂

Totally engrossed from start to finish. No fluff, no gimmicks, no ads. Zero effort (lol) and still better than 99% of bikepacking content out there.

I love this sooooo much!!! Need more of this in the world/interwebs. Please continue to make budget DIY videos like this. Just such wholesome good vibes.

This is peak (wings) internet content.

I was really impressed by the ingenuity from you guys in this video. The turkey roaster front rack inspired me to build my own out of an old locker shelf that my office was throwing out, along with some corner braces on some broken chairs. I had to later explain to my boss why I was rummaging about the pile off all the old office supplies that we were throwing out, but after mounting everything to my bike I felt more accomplished with what I made than how I feel at work most days. There's a lesson in there somewhere, and its probably to be careful about what I watch at work on my lunchbreak. Anyways cool video.

instead of hose clamping right down onto your front fork, you could take an old inner tube and cut it up to act as a kind of rubber washer. it'll hold in place firmly and not damage your fork. I did this for my own bottle cages on my bikes and it works like a charm.
