I changed from the carbon fork and 700c to segmented steel fork and 650B on the pink Kepler. Only thing I would change would be to add top tube bag mounts like you have here instead of strapping it on. Looking forward to the rack and frame bag builds!

Great video!  I’m interested to see what you end up doing for your rear rack. After a bit of a setback, I’m hoping to finish mine this weekend.

I’ve always been wary of using bolts to hold my bosses in place. I doubt it would actually happen, but I’m afraid I’ll be a little sloppy with the silver or the heat and I’ll end up brazing the bolt into the boss!

My topstone could very well end up with a suspension fork...maybe new wheels, maybe both!

I figured out a medium rigid (rigid enough) mount for disc brakes on the back for my morati HC1.1 titanium. It lets me now have 650b or low profile 700c wheels in addition to my custom velocity cliffhanger tubeless 26's. I just like that jagwire makes a little hose clamp that fits into cable stops and gives you a cable clamp so I could run hydraulic hose to the back, and combined two different kinds of clamp on and V brake rigid post to make it stiff enough.

I also recently wanted a bit more range than my old frame shift schwinn traveler with frame friction shifters. it's fun as heck now with a 50/34 chainring and 14-40 7 speed freewheel (falcon makes them which is nice) with a deore m5120 clutched derailleur

I was considering adding more gears to the back but I think it'd make the downtube friction shifters too fiddly having any more than 7. So I found a triple front 28-38-48 and it just barely works properly with my front mech.

That was a big fun upgrade making it a 3x7 when I normally don't like 3x and prefer 2x.

My last big change is my gravel bike frankenstein with a monster 2x10. 11-51 cassette and 46/29 cranks, it needs 4 links more than a standard chain, so I'm going to be switching it to an adventMX 11-48 cassette and some ird polaris 42/26 cranks.

Modification to my bike would be anything cages on the forks, problem is they are rockshox 🤔

How much do all the bags and their attachments weigh? It would probably have made far more sense to just use a rear rack (e.g. Tubus Fly) with two small 15l panniers. Much more convenient as well, when you can just take off your whole luggage with two small actions.
