The Oya 31 31, a test car used for measuring track clearances and used by JR West for many years, is nicknamed "Oiran" due to its appearance.
In 2022, it completed its service and was transferred to Echigo Tokimeki Railway, being transported to the Kanazawa General Rolling Stock Depot, Mattō Main Branch.
This time, we followed its departure from the Mattō Main Branch, seen off by many fans, and its subsequent transport to Echigo Tokimeki Railway's Naoetsu Driving Center.
And not only that, but a childhood dream of mine, Freight Journal, has also come true.

貨物列車は私が小さかった頃、田舎なので
一日一本、DE10が牽いてくる5、6両の貨物列車を見るのが楽しみでした。暫く鉄道から離れていましたが貨物列車ジャーナルさんのチャンネルを知ってから再び興味をもつ様になりました。早朝出社なのでリアルタイムでは見れませんがアーカイブで毎日朝活動画も拝見しています。この映像を見ると、またこういう機会がある様な気がします。貨物列車ジャーナルさんの真摯な取り組みが身を結んだ思いました。私もワクワクしながら拝見させて頂きました。ありがとうございました。
