Fun video and a really solid list. My only complaint is that Genesis Foxtrot deserves a spot on the list if only for Suppers Ready, and Genesis Selling England by the Pound should be a top 10 if not top 5 pick. It is everything you want from a prog rock album.

I would add Brain Salad Surgery & Trilogy ELP. Relayer Yes. Trick of the Tail & Wind Wutherling Genesis. Several titles from The Moody Blues. The Nice. Tangerine Dream. Oh yes...American prog, Kansas. 1st three albums. Obscure American prog band (Yes clone), Starcastle 1st two records. Italian prog...Triumphant, Banco, PFM. Thank you for your list.

Great list as usual, but I would have included a Procol Harum album or two.

Nice list. I would have Pawn Hearts and H to He - by VDGG. My favourite Pink Floyd is Atom Heart Mother so that would be in, and I would also have LTIA by King Crimson. My favourite Zappa is Hot Rats but maybe you would put that into your Jazz Rock list? I have 21 from your list. Twenty One Twelve is how you pronounce the Rush album title. I saw that tour in 1976 - showing my age. Good video.

Great to see caravan in the land of grey and pink, very near the top of my prog.list. I adore the Cantebury Scene.

I've been enjoying your channel after discovering it recently and I am a big music fan and prog is my favourite genre. Some very good choices though in my own top 25 I would have some others like:
Scheherazade - Renaissance
Leftoverture - Kansas,
Foxtrot - Genesis
Pawn Hearts - Van der Graaf Generator
Days of future passed - Moody Blues
and some more modern picks like
Brave - Marillion
Amused to Death - Roger Waters
Deadwing - Porcupine Tree
Blackwater Park - Opeth
Testimony - Neal Morse

Really cool list. Love to see Crime of the Century on there. Strangely enough prog rock was the first "alternative-rock esque" genre I ever got into. Thanks to YouTube in the early 2010s in high school. I'm a huge fan of Gentle Giant so I'm happy they at least had one spot in there. Do you like their album Three Friends? It's such a great concept album and definitely on the more accessible less "Gentle Giant craziness" side.

I'm also a big fan of A Passion Play (probably my favorite Jethro Tull), Comus- First Utterance, Van Der Graaf Generator- H to He Who Am the Only One, The Mars Volta- Deloused in the Comatorium, and Bowie- Station to Station.

I'm surprised you didn't have Station to Station or a Van Der Graaf Generator since I know you're a big Bowie fan. Peter Hammill always reminds of Bowie a lot. Anyway awesome list
