A couple of people have asked about this, so I wanted to clarify here. I wasn't aware of Diane Antone when I made this video. Blob-style watercolor, wet on wet is a widely used technique, and this tutorial was created independently as a general approach, not as a copy of any one artist's style. I love seeing different artist explore similar ideas, and it's great to see so much enthusiasm for watercolor birds. Thanks for watching and sharing.

Love these birds! One thing I might suggest: when you were showing us ideas for the bottom of the watercolor piece you held it flat while pointing to the bottom of the piece, we can see it much better if you would hold it up in front of you rather than flat. Thanks for sharing!!

Very cute. This is something even a kid couldn’t try if they have some patience We have a youngster in the family who loves art in general and watercolor in particular. I think he would give this a try. Thanks for the video.
