I completely disagree with comments that say that he's "talking too much" or that he's "too caught up in his own trip."
Clearly these people haven't been listening to Dev a long time.
Processing emotions of his own trip has been what he has been doing his entire career.
There are people in other countries that would kill to have been at these intimate shows. Like me.  I love hearing Dev tell stories about his songs.
And even just hearing parts of songs that he hasn't played live in forever from his expansive catalogue was great.
The renditions of the songs he chose for this tour are incredible.  His vocal and guitar performance sound better than ever.

I'm so proud of Dev for all he's persevered through and that he always remains true to  himself, his vision, his honest expression, and integrity.

Whether I agree or disagree, and whether by accident or on purpose, Devin's still managed to get some of us thinking laterally about spirituality and philosophy through his music, and that's something that's had a profound effect on my life. And it's something I will always be grateful to him for. Born not to follow indeed.
