Nicole Kidman is back with her yearly bad TV show, with Scarpetta, on Prime Video. And it was so bad people were turning it off after one episode, so I obviously ran to watch it. Wow. 8 hours I'll never get back, but why don't I tell you all about it...?

Nicole Kidman is becoming the pre-renaisance, I-need-to-pay-my-bills Nicholas Cage 🤣

I'm so sad this show is turning out bad, I loved the book series when I was a teen. I wanted to become a forensic pathologist because of them, until I realized how much school I would need to go through lol.

First of all, she would need to cut out her overuse of Botox so she can show real emotions on her face.

I couldn’t even finish an episode. Jamie Lee Curtis’ overacting was unbearable!

The Joker face and frozen expression is very distracting.

I scrolled past this on streaming and had no interest. So thank you for reviewing it so I didn't have to.

It seems to be another Wuthering Heights. The only thing true to the books are the names.

Saw a trailer and thought “maybe”, then I saw Jamie L. Curtis’s character…

There are actually people who are using AI chatbots of their deceased spouses already. There are people trying to make start ups revolving around this premise too which is just beyond disgusting in my opinion but not surprising.

The books are incredible. This slop they put millions of dollars into is horrific 😮

Scarpetta feels like watching Bones made in 2026 with no improvements to the show, but plenty of downgrades.

And yet a grandmother was falsely accused of a crime by an ai, and lost her house and dog for it and given no compensation by the government

I didn’t even make it through the first episode. Totally awful. And Jamie Lee Curtis as the mother? Like nails on a chalkboard for my teeth. Anyone who feels the same will understand. How has this woman, at her age, still not learned to act with a team instead of trying to outshine everyone else? It was painfully awkward to watch.

Nicole Kidman is an absolute show killer. Her presence always takes your of a scene because the plastic surgery on her face is terrifying.

Never watching anything with Jamie Lee Curtis.
But this was a fun review summary of the show.

I shut it off 1/2 way thru the 2nd episode. It was awful. The scenes w/Kidman & Curtis were SO ANNOYING. It wasn't needed & I couldn't stand to watch one more minute of it. It was actually painful.

I honestly felt like her friendship to her sexist best friend is kinda realistic. I met quite a few women who act all empowering but allow their male friends to act the worst. They make excuses for them or dont see their sexism as real cause they are friends, they dont think the men actually mean it even if they do. Their male friends are the "exception" or "have a pass", or "hes learning to be better." The discomfort of losing a man that approves of her is worse than the discomfort of having a friend that actually does not respect women
Especially when he acts bad towards any other woman but not towards her herself
