BEST WEAPONS in Mortal Shell 2 Tier List

Ranking the BEST WEAPONS in Mortal Shell 2 on a Tier List. I also talk about the infusion elements you can put on each weapon, and what shell compliments each weapon. Some like the Axe and Dagger are great with every shell.
The Scythe and Great Martyr blade are definitely a bit misunderstood, both having huge benefits but appearing slow and clunky at first. Until you learn their special moveset that makes them S tier.
Let me know what you think the stongest weapon in Mortal Shell 2 is!

0:00 Best Weapons in Mortal Shell 2
1:29 Iconoclast
3:57 Great Martyr's Blade (secretly good)
7:36 Axe & Dagger
9:53 Veteran's Battleaxe
12:57 Black Needle Spear
16:27 Axatana
19:54 Clockwork Scythe
24:28 Obsidian Hammer
27:22 RECAP (watch section for context)

Throwing the veterans battle axe ater putting fire on it makes a huge explosion. I freakin love it dude.

So many options and combinations with sick effects and animations. Easily the best looking combat in soulslikes for me. Not only looking, but satisfying to use also.

I found that the Obsidian Hammer works best with Vatra's Seal due to how Harden functions, allowing you to continue attacking while activating a parry at the same time.

As for trauma, it's definitely weaker compared to other infustions, but it does allow you to cause break while attacking. Add Vatra's Seal, you continue to keep up the heat so to say.

Colossus Stone is also fantastic for stacking infustion effects, even if the weapon does not directly hit the target, the AoE will still stack the effect.

The hammer also has some the hardest hitting single strikes when compared to other weapons, oddly less stagger than Veteran's Axe.

The only genuine issue with the hammer is it's attack speed against certain targets. Sester's with rapiers are perhaps the worst to face against, moreso than the scythe wielders.

note on the clockwork scythe, the running attacks cannot be canceled so careful when using it near cliffs if you don't wanna fall off like me.

Your colossus stone for the hammer was bugged. It happens as in the vid you were casting the hexapod core skill instead

The Veteran axe (throw ability) combo is even better if you actually hit your target, ASWELL as time it correctly as the spin before you throw the axe also deals an insane about of damage. OF with the fire active on the axe, then throw it will make a explosion when it lands/stops.
Also Fire for certain enemies will not only stagger but make them stop fighting cus the panic and try putting out the fire. Seen on the lesser simple human enemies sometimes.
And the sprint Light attack is not a sweep, it's an overhead attack as u slam down from above. A swipe is more what the heavy spring does.

The phantom needle is probably the best weapon combined with faithful Genessa. It clears screens like crazy when the explosions go off.

I actually like the Phantom spear combined with the phantom trebuchaxe with Sariel. I can get the stacks up to 99 easily with Fusillade & Squall stone and the burst damage is actually very respectable.. also the green glow is just cool lol

Also you should change the title to melee weapons tier list. You can make a ranged tier list later on.

I love that I was watching your older BG3 videos all summer and playing that game over and over and as soon as I swap games, youre covering the next one I'm playing

I feel lame making Iconoclast because you get it right away, but Im a Claymore guy in every souls game so it just speaks to me

My favorite is the Clockworth Scythe. It fucking shreds bosses with the bleed and turning the chain saw on.

I've stacked the clotstone with burn on the vet axe, poison on the crossbow, stasis and lighting talents with Prox. It's been fantastic in the Mammon area to have three active statuses going. And the running heavy is really, really good. I used Bloodcurse and Iconoclast for Last Child, the shrike allowed me to mitigate the multiple bugged attacks of that boss. My hot take: it's cheesy and low skill to go duality with axe & blade.

Nice vid bruv 😄
I think you are the first youtuber with a proper weapon's tier list. Next go for the stones.

@aduudublizzard 1 month ago

very good tier list very well explained especially with the tarstones guidance for us. 10/10 vid keep it up

Conqueror Reward has one hidden mechanic that put spear into the S tier immediately - Till don't break invisibility while strike with this ability. Maybe bug, dunno
