With harden you can heal poison or fire: just hold button.

This was an amazing tutorial for beginners. However, I think you should've added onto the hardening a bit more. You can harden in the middle of attacks rather than waiting on them to hit you. Even using a charged light or heavy attack tarcore, allows to charge up the attack, harden, wait to be hit, then use the attack. Most OP thing ever.

My issue with parrying is the amount of riposte damage--even with the tarstone to boost it. The gameplay here shows it many times over. You choose the "high risk, high reward" infinity seal path and after several successful parries, you do......20-35% of the standard-enemy's health with a riposte? That's roughly the same damage as two light swings. Now...you can often follow up the riposte with some attacks before they stand up, and this is often 2-3x your riposte damage, but still... I'd prefer enemies' "parry bar threshold" be lowered or make the riposte damage higher. I'm not currently incentivized to parry most enemies.

The importat dynamic of Harden is ability to do so mid attack. That attack continues after youre hit or release the Harden. Perfect for slow attacks and weapons. You can even do the running jump attack and harden mid air. You can theoritcally keep doing attacks wile perefect Hardening during the attacks

Problem with the infinite seal is that it doesN't break enemies' attack chains. So in a multi hit attack like the sword spin from the Nameless Captive, you will get shredded. But with perfect guard, you can "parry" all 7(?) hits. Vetra's Seal also works in those chain attacks.

I love to harden while performing combos, as long as i don't see the red warning i keep attacking and just get ready to harden mid animation, i'm loving this game! (I was a huge fan of the hardening mechanic in the first game, glad it remains in this one as well)

Well I played with default guard with tiel the whole time and timed my dodges instead, worked like a charm. First playthru in night mode, went well.

Holy shi this was so much needed. I was using the guard one and that animation cancel was what I was looking for like in sekiro. The unfinished guard is such a chore to use and I thought all 3 of these would not animation cancel. Thanks
