He didn’t “cancel” the wedding, he just didn’t show up. He ran away, he immediately hooked up with someone else/cheated - not necessarily in that order.

I just want to say, when you commented that you "robbed us" as viewers, no you didn't. Are you an influencer and content creator? Yes, but we as viewers aren't entitled to every single moment of your life. I'm glad that you and Mike kept private what you wanted to keep private. It's so important to have those moments in life and just because you're in the public eye more than we are doesn't meant you're not entitled to them.

The “if you have nothing to hide, why not just …” mentality ignores that you are being accused of something. If my sister didn’t take my word and demanded to search all my old messages, I’d let her look. Then I’d skip the wedding and go low contact because I don’t need people who distrust me on that level in my life. It’s like a partner demanding a paternity test out of the blue. I’d have the test, but you just accused me of being unfaithful. The relationship would be over for me.

Just FYI: All gifts including cash for a wedding that did NOT happen need to be returned. People might have standing to sue, if their gifts are not returned.
The bride's parents might also have standing to sue the runaway groom. The guy is a flappin' RED FLAG.

A wedding won't be ruined because 2 people missed the rehearsal. I was a bridesmaid 3 times and none of the brides had rehearsal la. Everything went amazingly.

My heart went out to the bride whose father treated her like garbage because his girlfriend is a jealous see you next tuesday. I wish I could say it gets better, but it won't. My father abandoned me years ago for a girlfriend, now his wife. She abused me for years, and he did nothing. She abused the children they had together, he did nothing. Some men will prioritize a romantic parther over their children because they are terrible parents. It is a hard realization to come to as a child, but when the evidence of their repeated, consistent behaviour is in front of your eyes, believe it.

The excuse of not liking confrontation to explain crappy behavior REALLY bothers me. Most people don’t like confrontation. Sure, there’s some rare people who thrive off of it, but in general most people don’t like it. It’s not an excuse to treat people like crap or not handle situations that need to be handled.
