Tbh Im just upset with the sydney ad because I hate how normalized prn and lust have become. I genuinely feel as if prn and lust is ruining our society.

As a woman, I hate that it’s targeting two addictions that can ruin a mans life; porn and gambling. I know it’s not about women’s sports, sex sells and has since the beginning of time, but haven’t we just recently been knocking socially acceptable concepts for the last 70 something years? Hasn’t it been a good thing? Maybe NOT sexualizing everything is something we should change for the greater good !!

Sex sells. Beauty sells. Controversy really sells. Basic Capitalism

@ravenmorrigana1093 2 weeks ago

Being mad because this ad is combining pron with gambling: Understandable
Being mad because she's detract from female sports: You don't get it.

Sydney is becoming a remarkably effective lightning rod for exposing exactly where the unhinged congregate.

@Choosymask 2 weeks ago

They only want you to be proud of your body if you look a certain type of way (obese, person of color, etc.)

Hey man, Im a straight black guy and im 40 and i wanna say I really really like your breakdowns man, you on point and i like listening to you, keep up the good work!!

Do I think her ad is setting woman's sports back? -no.
Is her ad appropriate? -no. The hypersexualisation in this society is crazy 😅 I don't like certain scenes in movies and I don't want to see nude people on ads, in which it's not necessary to reveal so much skin.

@woomydayz 13 days ago (edited)

The part that pisses me off about the ad is why is she naked? It’s the male gaze. I definitely agree with Omir but there’s no way this ad is empowering in any way.

@Alguien-z2o 12 days ago

Selling your body it’s just wrong. It’s sad it’s now normalized

@lune78 2 weeks ago

I just fail to see how this is empowering. I'm tired of everything being hypersexualized.

Can't wait for South Park/America to not cover this

All of a sudden they can tell you what a woman is and care about women in women sports? Even though this has NOTHING to do with women sports.

Like I said before Megan, Cardi etc etc ETC. All out here wearing basically nothing while talking about they walls, as they dance overtly sexual is absoultey fine. Yet, Sweeny does an ad and she's giving women a bad name? They're such a joke.

@salazar556 2 weeks ago

As a woman, I do not care at all. In fact, I don't think I'd even know about this ad if these women didn't talk about it.

@Samistheheroo 2 weeks ago (edited)

I was JUST talking to my husband about this! The same people angry about the advertisement are the people defending women selling themselves on OF. She isn't the first woman to make money off of being hot. The hate on her is so forced I genuinely do not get it.

Edit: Exceptions don't make the rules. Obviously people can hate OF and nudity in media in general. The outrage, however, largely comes from a group of people who simply hate Sweeney. 🤷🏼‍♀️
To be clear, I'm not even a fan of hers, nor was I aware she's a registered Republican. Sex sells, and it always has. The outrage is silly lol.
