I see stars- ten thousand feet.

Glad you enjoyed! For reference, Devin is the clean singer and Andrew is the drummer.

I remember hearing this when it first came out and still hits as hard as it did back then

Devin the singer and Andrew the drummer are the brother in the very beginning of the video. And the song and video was a reference to their family struggles, home foreclosure, and their mothers alcoholism

Fun fact. They’ve got a few songs titled after Michigan things such as this one and Electric Forest as they’re from there like me.

I've been listening to this a good while, and I liked the interpretations, better guesses than i'd come up with, the commentary was awesome, Subscribed! 👍🏼

This song still hits me hard (tearing up) because I was a drinker, and the depression that your trying to cure only gets worse. You drink to numb the pain, then you drink to get over the shame of drinking, and so on... Without even watching the video, the pain in his voice really tells the whole story.

Whitney's ready to headbang properly now. As for the smashed guitars, apparently they're really easy to repair if all you need to replace/mend is the neck. Matt Bellamy (I think, unless it was TanktheTech) explained this quite recently; he was famous for smashing a guitar per concert when Muse were starting out.

They're from Michigan, it's a nickname for the state. Calm snow is one you can check out too

Hi i love yall reactions. Can i make a recommendation? If so, can you guys take a trip over to our side of the world and react to a heavy metal song ‘Samoa Mo Samoa’ by a Samoan metal band called Shepherds Reign. These guys don’t get much recognition right now as i can imagine how hard it is to get out there in this genre of music as a Samoan or Polynesians as a whole, but these guys really are dope. Love you guys!🩷🩷
