I think a huge reason why trans mascs get top surgery earlier is because of binding. Many trans mascs bind for 5+ years before top surgery, and that does a number on your body. I personally have been binding since I was 12, so by the time I can get surgery that will be 6+ years, and I'm already experiencing complications at 3.5 years.
4:41 Funny thing about this, is that Alex is a gender neutral name so I see it in both transfems and transmascs. My name has always been Alex (short for Alexander, now I like Xander more lol) so seeing those videos makes me laugh a little bit. But also the "name from anime characters" is a silly one too because there are anime characters with most of the names that were listed.
15:46 I noticed how people who are transitioning claim this, either guys whose appetite changes completely once they get on T, or girls who now have a better connection with food... I think that it could be a thing about how they feel mentally, as a lot of people before starting hormones are usually not doing that good mentally, might be depressed but once they do start them, they feel better. Though hormones themselves do also cause shifts in appetite...
EDIT: Watched a bit more, this proves my point. She feels better about the changes that will come soon, plus is trying to gain weight. Makes sense!
3:05 At this part of the video. I must say that, this is so weird because I've seen it happen so often (all the things mentioned). Usually online, trans women expose those creeps, or even in public comment sections and then in videos like omegle/ometv/monkey (forgot what the app is called) videos. It's so odd, plus the thing about the surgery, bottom surgery is so odd. I've noticed that not only for trans women but for trans men, chasers only reduce trans people to their sex and never think of them as their true selves! So when a trans person wants to seriously transition, get hormones, get surgeries, suddenly they don't like them anymore! I hate that so much... And I just want to say, to all the trans people out there... Your sex doesn't define who you are, don't let those chasers make you think that way!!!
