It is unfortunate that you started at the end of this Love Wins All story.  Without watching the MV 1st and the the live clip of the start of her tour, you can not fully appreciate all that is going on in this performance.  She is not simply singing the song. This is performing the alternate ending of the MV is a most beautiful and dramatic way.  IU is far more than, as Rolling Stone says of her as 1 of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time, she is an artist in the purest sense. She tells a story in her songs and uses MV's to provide a deeper richer message of that story. While the song is beautiful on its own, the MV brings even more meaning and emotion to the song, which allows the listener to full fully understand this performance.

For example the red that floods the arena represents the tragic end of the couple as shown in the MV. This performance, which was the very last performance of her World Tour changed things up to represent an alternative ending, where the couple drive off into the sunset. This is representedby the Red fading away into bright white light. The reds representing evil and of course the white light representing the goodness and purity of true love. As it takes over the arena IU returns to the stage representing victory. But without having seem the MV all of this symbolism and artistry is lose on you.

This goes for much of IU's music, MV's and live performances.  While are her songs can be enjoyed independently  if you don't have the background of the song and the story through the MV, if the song has an MV, you will truly be missing out on and even bigger experience.

There is simply no one in the world today like her. No one and I mean one can match her talent level across the board. Not only is she a generational vocal talent, she is an outstanding and aware winning, Songwriter, composer and Producer. But that's not all she us also an outstanding and aware winning actress and model

Although IU is a singer who should be seen mainly through her live performances, she also puts immense effort into her music videos. Since she writes and produces most of her songs, she decides every creative concept herself. Her music videos are filled with symbolic elements that are fun to interpret, and she shares the stories behind them with fans, making the experience even deeper.

As IU said when introducing Love wins all at her concert, the love shared with fans gives her the belief that any fear can be overcome together. The performance you watched was not originally planned but was added to thank fans for their support. Bye Summer, which captures the feeling of her world tour, was first performed as an event song here and released as a digital single about a year later. I highly recommend watching the live video of that performance.

This event also marked IU's 100th solo concert. It was a stage where you could feel her journey as both a singer and actress since her debut in 2008. Personally, while her hits are great, I love every single track. Even the early songs she sang at age 15 might be different from her current style, but they are precious for remembering her younger days. From the CHAT-SHIRE album onwards, which she began producing herself, it feels like she is fully expressing everything she wants to do.

Adding to what others have said… Coming from a guy in Boston who first discovered IU through her incredible drama, Hotel del Luna, on Netflix (and she has other great dramas also) - IU has since become my favorite artist…period. Her music is the best. Her lyrics (even if I only get the English subtitles) are so beautiful. As others have suggested, make sure to watch the MV for this song…then the live performance will hit differently.

Thank you 😊
IU (real name is Lee Jieun) is a soloist, born May 16th 1993 and debuted in 2008 (18th year career already). She's a big big, representative singer in s.korea.

Do you see that stadium and crowd? Its not normal as local female soloist to have stadium concert : only IU had 4 night concerts in 2 biggest stadium in south korea (in 2022 and 2024).

Pls see her stuff more, my recommendation :
- eight live (2022 golden hour concert)
- blueming live (2019 love poem concert)
-iu killing voice

Queen IU.. you are now in front of the door of IU's world. She is singer and actress..

No vas  ha encontrar a nadie más , porque es una composición de IU y producida por ella, es la número uno en Corea

The song is original from her and the mv its like a film and amazing too, very recommended😊😊

This is so very beautiful.  I hope all are well.

Glad to hear your thoughts, both regarding our goddess IU's song dedicated to love and your personal ones, which actually run in the same direction if you read her introduction on the album. I hope you will react to more of her songs and share your thoughts about the experience.

The performance is like a movie.

Just a quick suggestion, purely my personal opinion. It might be better to put yourself on the thumbnail instead of just the eagle.I actually really love the eagle—it’s super recognizable among all the thumbnails out there. However, if it's only the eagle, I’d assume the eagle itself is doing the reaction.Personally, I prefer watching real people’s reactions because facial expressions are so important, so I wouldn’t click in.You could be missing out on many potential new viewers.I truly enjoy your content.Have a great day!

Hey EagleFan,
thanks for your reaction to IU !

Maybe you watch the live of Sohyan in Spain singing that song in a square of a little town of Mallorca, with a high nite in the final of 14 seconds😅😊😊 try to see if you dont watch till, is an amazing cover of Sohyan, and react please...

Yeah too much craziness is going on especially with IU hope she finds peace from these nonsense hates and lies throwing at her right now but yeah hope love wins all😊
