"It is a simple thing to say, but no other words capture my feelings quite as well. Everyone, please be happy." These were the words IU shared during a live performance, and according to those who were there, the entire audience held their breath and listened with absolute focus as she sang Love Wins All.
When you listen to Love Wins All at a time when your faith in humanity is gone and your expectations of others are at their lowest, the song sounds like a desperate plea holding onto love. However, if you listen to it again after finding a tiny spark of hope, it feels like IU is gently comforting you, letting you know that things are still okay. It is truly amazing how a song carrying the simple message that love wins can resonate in such vastly different ways depending on your current state of mind.
