This is so true about the cashiers everywhere. They are all so angry. I experience this at our local Spar as well.

Cashiers should be taught not to chew gum, snort back snot, scratch their heads or pick pimples. They touch our food as they scan it after having picked pimples. No, it is disgusting.

I hope so much that the African people manage to live an improved and honest life in S, Africa that has gone through so much. Beautiful people I miss them so much... Having lived in J'burg over 40 years ago when they were so under appreciated by those in control. Onwards guys! Love xxoo

One can't tell if City Power is on strike or not - it is the same with both situations.

They're underpaid and overworked. Since they can't take out those frustrations at the boss/manager/supervisor they target us as customers.

People are underpaid. Tough to smile when you're underpaid.

So you are cracking joes about their moods and over work but being dirty is no excuse. Cashiers should not be picking nose 😂😂😂

Just Observing....Shoprite in Southfield,Cape Town is a good example, and it's happened on numerous occasions...I would say with all courtesy...Good Morning,or Good Afternoon, and the cashier's response would be "HI"...I would then say...I greeted you so nicely and all you could say is " Hi.".....I'm a customer, not your friend...The rolling of the eyes is to much....No Apology offered....What is that BEHAVIOR about ?...Pls tell me..
