I would cry if I lost any part of a cosplay, so when I saw the title my brain went O _______ O

I once forgot my shoes for a cosplay, but luckily most of the pictures didn't show my feet anyway

I would panic as hell if i were u even tho its a small part or smth lmao

One time when I was wearing my Astrid Hofferson cosplay I forgot the gloves at home. I couldn’t replace them so I went the entire day without them.

I'm no stranger to last minute panic buying so I know the pain you must have felt at Target. Also relieved your brooches at home because when I first saw the title I thought you'd left part of your costume in another country

Bruh I’m having flashbacks to two years ago when I left my ENTIRE Fem Edgeworth cosplay at home (2 hours away from the con) and my friend had to be a lone Fem Phoenix Wright. The struggle is real.

Aah, tiny storytime of my own, so 😅 My friend and I cosplay together and attend several cons a year, we run @almost.okay.cosplay on IG. So we have multiple chances to wear our costumes and little details have become not as important, like small scuffs on shoes or slightly more tangled long wigs. But, we try to keep all of the parts to each costume together, and I have TOTALLY felt the panic you've had in this video. Lol I have forgotten things and my friend has too, one memorable moment would be when she was cosplaying Sailor Uranus and forgot her Sailor Scout tiara. I had made us custom tiaras that were very lovely and realistic. Yet when we needed to make her one in a pinch, we bought glitter craft paper and a cheap blue gem and sort of glued it all together. It wasn't great, but it worked 😅 We have a few old pictures on our IG of her wearing it and well, unfortunately it wasn't as subtle as your broaches 😅 There have been so many other little forgotten things but we've done our best and made it work every time!

We stan washing your hair and not feeling like wearing a wig! Work it! Also, will Justine be judging this too? lol

This is why I make so many packing lists and triple check everything before I leave. The thought of forgetting something stresses me out so much.

Bro it’s fine. At my first con I was supposed to have a bow for my cosplay, a friend of mine was supposed to make it for me and bring it with her but she forgot to put it together and I ended up sitting in the hall, trying to put the cosplay together with eyelash glue 😂 I ended up buying a small adventure time pin and I used it to hold everything together

"When you forget a piece of your cosplay, you'll never forget it again"

Me: sighs recounting HOW MANY TIMES IVE FORGOTTEN MY MASK FOR MY CLASSIC HARLEY COSPLAY

My first big out of town convention as a cosplayer - I thought I forgot to pack a wig cap. made a mock up one with a pair of tights I picked up from a supermarket for the first day

turns out I still had a wig cap in the wig I was gonna be wearing on the second day.  due to me just snatching it and throwing it in a bag a couple weeks before and completely forgot it was there.

but thanks to that incident I always triple check I have everything before leaving for an out of town con.

bro i wish the "you'll never loose the item again" I have had to remake my shark teeth 6 times

I'm glad you eventually found something you could use.

Your so cute, especially with short brown hair!

Once had a dream about a week before a steampunk festival that I'd forgotten to pack a small but important piece of an outfit (a tiny cameo brooch for the collar of the shirt). To this day, whenever I pack that outfit, I will make EXTRA SURE that the pin is attached to either part of the outfit or the bag itself. It's such an easy piece to forget about because it's so tiny, but I've never forgotten to bring it because my dreams were looking out for me that one time lmaooo

Ive never forgotten a piece of my cosplay cause I obsessively check to make sure I have everything
Like, multiple times a day the week before the con
Yeah I'm kinda a perfectionist when it comes to cosplay 😅

Totally unrelated to the video topic, but I just wanted to point out- halfway through the video it hit me why the background looked so familiar. I have the same setup and same loft bed and was like OMG WHAAAAT!?!? Anyway, i love all your videos Anya! <3

I’ve been making a cosplay during The Ordeal and I’ve been watching all your vids! I was just about to run out ones to watch so this is perfect timing, blesssss
