I had an accident and cut myself real bad when cooking once, and while on the phone with the 112-operator (the same as 999 or 911) I started to mop the blood up from the floor, even though the nice man talking to me while I waited for the ambulance told my to stay put, keep pressure on my hand and hold it as high as possible.
"What are you doing now?!" he asked me. "I can hear you moving around!"
"Well, I have to clean this mess up! My child's really homofobic!" I answered, obviously meaning my kid has "hemophobia". Or maybe it wasn't that obvious. The man at 112 asked me if I felt lightheaded, but with a weird tone to his voice. I had lost more than a pint of blood by then, and couldn't stop giggling. It was too dumb not to.
The centipedes lady reminds me of my Nannies for sure. They're divils for mixing up words. One of them said my uncle had "necrophilia" when he had lymphoma 😂😂
I went to school with Rory. He was 1st year when I was 5th year. I don’t blame you for thinking he was 18 at the time of that video because he goes on as if he’s 90. But he couldn’t have been more than 14 at the time xD
As an American, anytime I need a laugh I look up the weather report from Met éireann. It makes me giggle with amazement how many different ways they can describe, "It's going to rain today". It's pure mastercraft of the English language, full of appreciation for subtle differences, on full display for the entire world.
Thanks Garron this is worth every penny. Reason for contributions is I know of all the charity work you do, which I'm extremely interested in. If I'm any judge of people I'm sure a bit of this will go to your favourite charity of the moment.
There's a famous clip in America where a weather woman was forced to sit in a canoe in a parking lot to demonstrate how much rain they were having during this tropical storm and a bunch of dudes walked across the parking lot behind her like it was nothing fucking hilarious😂😂
Here in Queensland, anytime a Cyclone is going to cross the coast, we have swarms of reporters move in and do live crosses from every town with more than 15 people in it, telling viewers very earnestly not to go outside in these conditions, while standing outside in those same conditions.
