no matter what you say or try and prove, a 5 year old is always going to vote for what ever their parents tell hem too

I got favorited :)

“ bruv immigrants” had me dying laughing

This video is just a “how easily manipulated are you” test

This would just be parents voting twice😭😭

Hard disagree on the 21 voting age point, literally taxation without representation (the idea that birthed the nation). I think that voting ages should align with state labor laws, the main reason being that kids under 18 are still paying taxes on their wages without representation in the government. If there was an intelligent test to decide whether someone could vote or not existed, democracy would crumble as political parties attempt to corrupt the test to eliminate opposing views.

This argument is good until you consider it could be used to argue for removing the age of consent

“Hey sweety I’ll give you ice cream if you vote for ()”
“okie!”

Taxation without representation. If you have a job at 16 you should be eligible to vote

12:21 1. That’s a fallacy you can’t just dismiss something because you “can’t understand it.” 2. Illiteracy doesn’t mean you cannot read at all, illiteracy is a spectrum, your friend in high school who had a 3rd grade reading level is technically illiterate. 3. You failed to even acknowledge the point of the chatter: historically there is precedent for tests being used to marginalize and bar specific people groups from voting. That’s the exact reason we DONT have tests. I also believe personally that if you need to test voters then you should just reform your education system because it blatantly failing.

The voting age was 21 up until July 5th 1971 it was changed to 18 because the US had 18 year old coming back from Vietnam and going back because the couldn't vote or drink and under the quote “old enough to fight, old enough to vote”.

29:21 why am I getting jumpscared 😭✌️

You still owe me $6 from two years ago Joe. I’m waiting.

There is no way this won't lead to radicalization and further polarization

if children could vote a large portion of our population would be voting for baby gronk or the rizzler

Fun fact:
17% of Americans don't know any of the three branches of government, 24% of Americans know less than two branches of government, and 34% can't name all three

28:58 "You're choosing to bring somebody into this world, let them live" exactly 😔

29:23 bruh Im out here walking at night with headphones on, not even watching the vid… When I tell you my soul left my body

The fact that people genuinely still fucking argue about a literacy test should be a requirement to vote but in America although in theory at a time African Americans could vote by law but they would make it so first off you would have to pay to register to vote and they had to take a American literacy test.

I think the biggest problem would be forcing it on kids ruining their childhood, making them grow up or mature too fast to where they don’t even get to enjoy life as a child.

My girlfriend  was told she would be kicked out of the house if she didn’t vote a specific way I CAN 100% see parents telling their kids if you don’t vote like this you’re going to the adoption center
