Unreal timing of this video in correlation to my life.

What painfully ironical timing.

its extremely rare for me to make any real connections because i constantly feel like im acting weird or just not interesting enough. because of this i mainly sit in my room, get high and watch youtube videos or play games. the rare times i actually so something with people i literally can’t socialize at all and if I do socialize, i constantly think “why tf did i say that” every time i say something i think is weird. I then retreat back into my room, get high and do nothing again. i also feel like im a complete  failure because i have all these dreams about getting rich and living a peaceful life but i never have the motivation to do anything to work towards those dreams. because of that, i also constantly criticize myself for not doing anything and wasting my life away.

the brain is so crazy because what do you mean social rejection is the same receptors of the brain as physical pain.

lost my childhood best friend back in 2020. we just grew apart. he was my best friend since kindergarten. We're 22 now and whenever I see him, it's really like we're strangers.

Joe Bart Philosophy is so cinema

Waking up to Joe it’s gonna be a great day

I genuinely like and love that no matter who Joe meets, how big he gets, he will always sound grounded and like a human to me. and I enjoy and appreciate that even if he doesn't know I exist

one of the worst situations in parting ways with a friend is definitely when you get convinced by a new/other friend to do something that destroys the friendship, it feels fine and normal until in the future when you look back at that time and realise how bad of a choice it was
it makes you wonder what they think of you after so much time away, whether they also feel the same or dislike you even more

One of the first friends that i made in the Army was killed in 2020 and i still think about him every day. I agree with your take that grief is a life long process. It gets easier with time but its much harder when you constantly lose friends. In 2022, i lost another friend (Army as well) and it felt like i reset back to zero. I appreciate you reviewing this video and your insight as well Joe. It helped me understand grief and loss rather than trying to ignore it or move past it.

I am going through shit with losing someone, not death but parting ways, and this came out of nowhere

Time doesn't heal pain, it just teaches you how to live with it.

Damn this made me realize I need to find some friends

damn im lowkey not keeping any of my friends from highschool lmao

16:45 that shit got too depressed and I had to leave

Ts depressing for no reason 18:23

0:17 I think that people often don’t realize it but they try to find reasons friends grew apart and they blame others…

2:44 My kindergarten teacher made this kid, who already did daycare there before, show me around. I then talked to him more and more, now 12 years later our friendship is still very strong and I could not see it ending.

19:33 PERSONA!

about the awkward reconnection segment i’ve always wondered if the other person can tell that our conversations don’t flow the same, and if only one person gets the feeling does that say more about one or the other person
