The Saddam under Natsui's dress actually killed me, I can't believe it. Retinas, you're legit hilarious

No one expects the visual novel to actually drop in gameplay 300 hours in

All of Erika's bullshit in episode five makes perfect sense once you realize she's just a TTRPG player who is metagaming.

Joe saying that number rating is his own decision and that it exists for fun feels like Ange telling to Bern's face that red truth is just a useful convention between players and it cannot stain her world.

Thank you, Retinas

Watching him make so many 100% correct guesses in the question arc was fucking amazing, but his reaction to Erika and the new song being the same to mine was another level of mindfuck

With how emotional the last few streams were for me I forgot how hilarious episode 5 was

@papandreu223 1 year ago

It's fascinating how much he's been in tune with Battler throughout all the novel.

its a 10/10 but i could complain for hours is so fucking true. its a flawed masterpiece

this one got copyright claimed, but to my surprise it wasn't the song at the very end that did it

Funnily enough, while people usually think that the arrogant personality that Ikuko show in episode 6 is a self insert way of Ryukishi to vent, he has never shown those traits himself, when a episode of Higurashi got very bad reviews, he blamed himself, and even thought he was never good in the first place, with the good first impressions of his work being a fluke. The Ikuko that we see in episode 8, that didn't have much confidence on herself after failing to publish her story, seems a lot closer to what he's actually like, nowadays he's a lot more confident, after seeing so many people love and interpret his works in different ways, he pretty much enjoys being a writter as much as a reader itself.

Umineko When the Dragon Streamers Cry

I loved seeing at the end the call backs to when Umineko was first mentioned on stream. It was a long trip, but Joms finally reached the Golden Land. Thanks for the compilation Retinas.

I genuinely dread the possibility of anyone watching these highlights without reading Umineko or watching the streams beforehand. If you are that person, please do so.

Just finished the video fully now and I got leaky eyed. If it wasn't for these streams I probably wouldn't have been part of this community and even interacted with anyone in it so I am glad Joe did the leap day stream and continued it and kept going when the story got rough. I wanna thank Joe for giving the VN a chance, I wanna thank Mouse for helping schedule each stream, thank you to Jelly for being a fun guest on the stream and giving his interpretation of what is happening in Umineko when he is on stream, and I wanna say thank you for Retinas for putting these highlights together and being a cool friend. I would like to dedicate this message to this beautiful community of funny people because of how lucky I am to be a part of it.
