i want u guys to know i made the thumbnail and titles like those slop drama channels as a joke initially but its so funny to pass up on doing now

bro was not joking about being sick

things are heating up in the unemployed fandom 🔥

I'm also soon to be 22 ;p and I honestly think that them releasing knock-offs isn't an issue. These extremely rare and obscure items can't be acquired by the majority of the players, and most of the time the players who DO manage to get them happen to do so through less legitimate means.
There's a certain demographic of players who have ruined trading and are breaking the in game economy in their own favor to squeeze every bit and drop of worth from fellow jammers - items aren't circulating the way they used to anymore, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to trade anything at all in general. These obscure rares don't have the mystique they used to anymore, because they're mostly snatched up and owned by players who are trying to build out a monopoly over the video game..

I just lost the ability to care about this altogether. I'm sorry to the genuine collectors who traded all the way up for their own personal entertainment and to set goals. It's just simply not our game anymore. It's the game of the sellers and scalpers today.

I want the bubblegum eyeball hat, but it's not a realistic goal at the moment considering the in game economy LMAO a legitimate dupe or knockoff would be nice.

petition to put longs in phantom emporium because it'd be really fucking funny

"I'm sick"
You don't sound sick

nevermind mans was sick

god this is reminding me of the time I got scammed trying to trade for a yellow long but traded for a spectacular long collar instead not noticing the diamond tag😭

Honestly, I don't get why people get so upset when these sorts of items get released or rereleased. It's a kids game with a really bad economy, if you spent real world money on them then that's your fault for thinking they would forever stay rare lmao.
I would rather have them rerelease items for everyone to enjoy rather than have people gatekeep them, especially when so many of them are obtained in via hacking or duping to begin with.

i kinda like the duller look of the new versions because oddly enough, it reminds me of the early aj style (or how i pictured the art style as a kid) if that makes any sense 😭 also love to see you back!!

First time I played this game was in 2011.. man those were really nice times. Last time I played it more often was in 2020-2021. Good to see this game is still alive, but sad that not that many people play it anymore.

I just got traded a beta tail a few months ago, im not really bothered these came back in store. i suppose im not really into AJ as much anymore, i just wanted to get rid of some items and i never had a beta tail so i accepted it. prob was very under for a founder's hat, but did also trade a soild. but i guess im like you, i cant be bothered to care anymore if items are released looking alike others, or old ones return. but, it does suck that it makes it easier for people to be scammed.

when you were talking about the current userbase i couldn't help but cringe bc you described me so much (player since childhood who lost my og account and lost a dream item). when i decided in college that it would be fun to regularly play it again, i had NO IDEA how bad the economy would be. i remember when rim headdresses were worth 2 black longs i feel like an old lady

what surprises me is that even when they re-release replicas that are exactly the same some people keep looking for the originals (?)

5:41 yeah these items are so silly, I own the rare tagged promo butterfly earrings, because I wanted to collect every existing arthropod-themed item in animal jam. despite it literally being a stupid difference I felt like I had to get it to complete the collection lmao

one time i traded 4 top hats for a beta tail (after they came back in hatapalooza) as a joke but the person actually accepted
and i felt so bad about it but i also accepted the trade so i didn't bad enough i guess 😭i was mostly just in shock

anyway i love when super rare items (or similar looking items) come back in stores and the trading system just breaks. we should break the trading system more often and let people who just want the items (or items that look similar) be happy

You sound like a completely different person 😭 0:48

lol rip all those people who traded their hard earned valuable rares for the beta elf… I don’t play anymore, but it’s cool they’re adding the helmet back!

I ate a paint brush tail

As someone who owns all the beta tails idc I’ve had those tails for so long I still wouldn’t trade them away

I WAS WAITING FOR THIS UPLOAD LMAOO
