There is no doubt that George was in a category of his own.

This ended up in front of the Supreme Court because of free speech.

This is his really early stuff. This is on his “fm&am” album. The reason there are bad words is purely due to religion. It’s just another way to control people. Scare them into compliance.

This went all the way to the Supreme Court George Carlin “seven dirty words” case, a decision that still holds sway over the use of indecent and obscene language on television, radio and in a new era of mass communications. It was played on a New York radio station ,Some guy was riding with his son when the routine came on the radio He wrote a letter to the FCC & complained.  The Network that owned the radio station went to court vs the FCC Federal Communications Commission. Radio stations could be fined or lose their broadcast license. The first time George performed it,he was arrested & charged with violating obscenity laws, but the case was dismissed

HEY YOU GUYS! 😊SO THIS WAS HIS 1ST ( HBO ) SPECIAL, HE WOUND UP DOING ( 14 ) OF THEM 👍FYYYRRRR! 💯

The hardest part of George’s performance is the fact that he’s in something called “the round” which is where the stage is totally circular so you have to keep changing directions when you talk so everyone sees you. It’s one of the absolute hardest things to do as a performer

The Philosopher George Carlin the GOAT

George turns undeniable truths into informative, artistic performances. I saw this on TV when I was a kid and giggled for days every time I thought about it. Miss you George (RIP)

GENIUS GEORGE

I love Carlin! RIP 😔

My all time skit by George is "Saving the Planet"..!

Love George. Beautiful couple

7:15 "Cornhole" has made an amazing comback. It has a super hero and a competitive league on TV!

Thank you! You two are on a roll!! Keep up the good work.

Yeah, George makes you think. Thanks for your reaction. This is a classic!

Genius. How can he remember this with presumably no script

George Carlin religion and the 10 Commandments very good thought provoking comedy

I saw him, "in the round," front row, in 1982. A lot of the material ended up going into the first cable special he did after his second heart attack -- Carlin at Carnegie.
Highly recommend.

I was in the front row, and when he did the Rice Krispies bit, I fell on the floor. I was 13.....

Hey you two! Did you all know this subject made it to the United States Supreme Court., There are seven words... George Carlin always speaks the truth!!!.. I consider him the GOAT of stand up...

Can’t get enough of George! He started out brilliantly funny and somehow just kept getting better. Keep the reactions coming, I’ve seen this stuff a million times, seeing someone else see it for the first time is very entertaining! Great stuff!!!❤
