I knew that the Dday soldiers were brave. But I never realized that they were storming the cliffs with muskets.

When the Canadian landing craft first hit Juno Beach there were ten of them. 100 yards apart. There was a total of eight waves. One of my uncles was in the 3rd wave. He said that the last five waves were to replace the guys in the first three waves.
One company hit the beach with 132 men. Eight of them left the beach under their own power.
That's 94% casualties.

Was all over for T1 when T2 cleared the beaches. T1 made a good show of it though, considering T2's numerical advantage. Great video, thanks!

This is where color tracer fire would be useful to see which side is firing more and where it’s coming from you know like real war. In my opinion, tracer means death to the one shooting them. The enemy will know your position. The object of battle is to know your enemies position and they not know yours. That’s why we love to fight at night more technically capable. I think I’m like this? because my great great uncle was General Patton. That happens to be my last name. Love your games.

If I'm not mistaken, this battle took place on the Normandy coast of France. It was so scary on the computer, imagine how it actually was.

Just so we all know, the Allied Forces were multinational, and the Americans didn’t call their country “Murkahh”. A lot of them were farmers but the Army wasn’t accepting morons.

Wow this was a Great battle, when the German reinforcements came into the action, I didn't thing the allies had a chance. That late flanking on both sides saved the day for the allies. Losing all those tanks really made it interesting.
