Ali it’s 2026. The stadium opened in 2019. We’ve had 7 years of explaining to people why this stadium was necessary. There are clearly some people in your comments who are never going to get it but you don’t have to spend so long explaining it all. You’ve done it for 7 years. You’ve done your bit.
26:38 the death of Tottenham? Don’t they realize the market the U.S. represents!? The earlier a European league & European Club gets the attention & then the fandom, loyalty & $$$ of more Americans, the better! Premier League does it. That’s why they have Rebecca Lowe & Tim & the 2 Robbies travel around the U.S. to different U.S. cities during weekend EPL coverage. That’s just a start. Spurs going to Australia for pre-season to expand fan base? We are 350 million Americans. A virtually ⚽️un-tapped market with disposable income & a propensity to worship the team we end up choosing. Please, Tottenham, get here b4 our rivals do!
25:53 especially after having World Cup in the U.S. this summer a lot of Americans, most of them NFL fans, have become more interested in ⚽️& streaming platforms means we can finally view many different leagues. And they are looking for a ⚽️club to support. So 💯should’ve kept Spurs attire in the shop!! The more Spurs🤍fans the better!
Have heard rumors around players falling out with DZB and Porro, looking for a way out, (great song by Odyssey) could be one of the same rumor being peddled. Have you heard anything on that?
There’s a lot of talk at the moment with regards to Arsenal expanding their stadium. Curious to know if Tottenham took future expansion into account when building ours?!
I really appreciated your 10,000ft view of the reality of the benefits of stadiums revenue streams to the team! And your honesty regarding Harry and the joy he brought to us despite not being supported by the board. Amazing Alasdair as Always😎
Our issue right now is a team spirit and motivation issue. We have bare minimum top 8 players. And personally I'd say we have top 4 skills and stuff but with a few gaps in quality if we get injurys.
The main thing we are missing is the motivation and togetherness we had under rednap, poch and Ange.
We used to trust even if things went wrong we would go again. We used to believe that even if we went down 2 we could come back. Hell we used to be king of comebacks. Ajax. Man city. That one where bergwijn scored 2 after the 94th min. We've always had that resilience.
Right now we are too floppy. If one person makes a mistake everyone starts moaning. No one is dying for this badge right now.
We need people to have a desire to win. Whereas right now aside from some youth players and couple seniors most players look like they don't care when we lose because it's someone else's fault.
We need to be all motivated and together. The last time I've seen us in a good place was Ange. Ironically both at the start and end of his tenure. The feels around that tour bus where insane.
That's what we are missing. We've refreshed so much hardly any of the Europa winning squad are actually playing rn.
Also, Spurs' issues were never going to be sorted in one transfer window. Those who cannot be named down the road stuck by 'lego head' and that decision has reaped the rewards. We need to be patient (again/for longer 🙄) and stick with RDZ! Keep backing him and we will turn the corner 🤞 We do need to see the Ws start soon though #COYS 🤍
On the difference of the Home vs Away fans. Away fans are always more renowned as being louder etc. Just take at Plymouth Argyle (ST Holder) our home atmosphere is not very good, apaet from patches/certain games but our Away fans always travel in numbers, large distances and are always singing/chanting! I suppose most clubs are similar. Oh, and Ollie Irow was class again this week #pafc 💚 #COYS 🤍
