I'm in Japan right now, long time subscriber, wagyu is a meaningless word, like you said Japanese cow, a generic term, the word you want is Miyazaki and it's going to cost a hell of a lot more than that, love your channel, keep up the good work, cheers, your fan Rodger

The whole point of Wagyu beef is that the fat marbling adds much of the flavour, like any other flavoursome beef.

I had Wagu steak from Aldi 3days ago and it was very ,very good

Hi Gareth at my previous house I always used a pan on the gas hob, heat the pan, but oil the steak, a nut oil ! Let the steak breath for 30 mins before cooking when it’s vac packed. At my new place it’s an induction hob, so I use my air fryer and to be fair it’s amazing, give it ago !! 🤞👍

Exactly! @baldfoodieguy It's not blood. The red liquid coming out from cooked meat is called myoglobin and is just oxygen-rich fluid that feed the muscle tissues. It's safe to eat and has plenty of iron too!

I needed a lesson cooking steak and here it is. Sure loads of my mates tell me how they do them but everyone has a different way and without seeing it, I don't know how it's going turn out. This vid is perfect, and that is exactly how I like my steaks also, sort of medium to well done. Top upload man.

We spotted Aldi Wagyu fillet steak in Aldi a couple of months ago, it was around a tenner each and was the best steak we have had for years. Get the pan up to heat, oil (olive oil) and season the steak, then when you put it in, add a knob of butter and baste the steak with it, then make sure it is rested for ten minutes. I would also take the steak out of the fridge for an hour before cooking it.

It'll be a Wagyu cross, essentially you can call it Wagyu because there will be a percentage of Wagyu in it, the percentage doesn't need to be particularly high so yes it's a marketing term basically.
