Flat irons actually the second most tender cut of beef behind only fillet, very underrated cut

I'd never have thought about using an air-fryer for a steak, but I am impressed.....

I'm currently having a new kitchen fitted basically having a BBQ every night kids are loving it steak is on the menu tonight beers and England.

Don't tell the vampires you are having a steak 😂😂

I do all my steaks in my air fryer. When I am resting them, I give them a brush with garlic butter. Takes them to another level.

Hubby and I love watching your food reviews, so…. Best way to cook a steak, game changer, we use the Jamie Oliver way, works every time. Heat your pan, no oil. Steak at room temperature, oil and season steak on one side. Place in hot pan oil side down, leave alone. Oil top side and season flip over. Leave alone. Cook for desired time. Remove from pan, wrap in foil, leave 5-10 mins in warm place. Go on give it a try, Flat iron is tender and delicious. Mrs J x

air fryer one looks nicer! Better crust 😊

Flat iron steaks come from the feather blade. A muscle inside the shoulder hence the blade. It used to be a slow cooking cut suited to casseroles and stewing.
There's a large bit of gristle that runs through the middle. Flat iron steaks have been removed from this gristle imagine filiting a fish.
They are generally full of flavour and surprisingly tender.

Absolutely fantastic video Sir, kudos 👌🏼💪🏼🙏🏼 inspired, picking one up today…

I’m the same as you, at first when asked how I like my steak cooked I would say “cut its horns off, wipe its arse, and walk it though a warm room. But now I’m a medium rare man.
The best tool for cooking steak is a quick read thermometer and to know the internal temperature for the doneness of steak that suits you

Medium rare, absolutely perfect cook, well done Gaz

“Maybe some greens”.  Steady on Gareth…🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

❤ nice result mate 👍

Gareth. Flat Iron is the BEST! Red hot pan, 1 min flip, 1 min flip. 3 Mins each side, rest for 5 mins and you have the best steak!

Nice hot pan medium rare nom

Been getting flat iron steak from Morrisons for a few years, and they are one of the nicest steaks you can get.

My mouth is watering just looking at it   Enjoy

However you cook a steak or joint most important thing is to let it rest.

Definitely going Aldi to buy this. Looks very good.

I love butter, Gareth. I always have a big knob when I'm cooking a steak.
