Learn how to make your own hoodie step-by-step in this tutorial! This is the same hoodie base I use for many of my designs, and once you learn it you can customize it however you want — patchwork, graphics, color blocking, or keep it classic.
If you want to follow along exactly, you can purchase The Hoodie Pattern on my website.
✨ Link is in my bio under “Patterns.” https://www.katswalkco.com/patterns/p...
What you’ll need to make your own hoodie:
• The Hoodie Pattern (available on my website)
• Fabric (sweatshirt fleece, french terry, or heavyweight knit)
• Ribbing for cuffs and waistband
• Scissors or rotary cutter
• Sewing machine
• Thread
• Pins or clips
• Measuring tape
• Fabric chalk or marking tool
• Iron (for pressing seams)
This pattern is meant to be a foundation hoodie, so you can get creative and make it your own. Add patchwork, mix fabrics, upcycle old clothing, or design something totally unique.
If you make one, I would LOVE to see it. Tag me so I can share your creations!
