Best instructional video I’ve watched on YouTube, no kidding! Perfect cadence, didn’t leave anything out, yet very concise and easy to watch.

I'm a complete beginner sewer and I've done a few beginner projects, but I feel like if I don't jump into this (which is what I really want to do), I'll never do it. I'm so glad I found your tutorial because I'm going to study it, probably write down notes, and then slowly start my first patchwork project. I'll be doing a sweatshirt though because I don't much care for hoods. I can't wait!!

It's great to watch a step-by-step walk through of your process. I think I'm going to try this!
BTW, your mold is called a pattern and the extra that you leave on each piece is called seam allowance.

Quick tip, you can sew the sleeves while they are still open by attaching the top of the arms to the shoulder. Then you just sew the arm and side seam from the end of the sleeve to the bottom of the shirt. Way easier to do and you won’t have trouble at the armpit.
