Hi Brad! As a black woman who loves watching your videos, I really appreciate that you do reaction videos of other black women. It’s so entertaining to watch I think bc of the fact that I already have knowledge of how relaxers work and having relaxed my own hair many times before. I like feeling represented and acknowledged on all the unique work we do with our type of hair. My hair is currently in braids and very healthy and I love putting on all my oils and sprays while laughing at your videos. 😂 thanks again!

As a woc who has had a relaxer in the past I was gagged when I heard “relax the eyebrows” that seems sooooo dangerous lol

Please please please be SO careful with chemical relaxers!! There's an ongoing class action lawsuit against L'Oréal after many women developed cancer from using their relaxers. It could be much worse than hair falling out.

After a 12 hour salon shift with an 8 hour color correction , I sit down and watch more hair content from Brad lol.

I love finger waves.  It's tricky to do and totally worth the time and effort.  It's a statement.  When I did it to attend a wedding people did not recognize me.  It's so elegant.   I was practicing  one night and the Uber Eats driver said I look fly.  lol

Hi ladies! I work in hazardous waste management, and I’d like to share something important with you.

Some chemicals found in hair relaxers, such as calcium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide, are corrosive chemicals that can cause serious harm. Certain hazardous chemicals are regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and may require specific handling and disposal practices.

Formaldehyde, which may be present in some hair products as an ingredient or additive, can also pose health and safety hazards depending on its concentration and form.

Here’s a challenge to help us better understand what we’re putting on our bodies:

Every chemical has something called a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). This document provides important information about the hazards associated with a chemical. Section 2 specifically addresses hazard identification.

I challenge you to find the SDS for each chemical listed in the ingredients of the relaxer or hair product you use. Read Section 2 and learn what the manufacturer identifies as the potential hazards.

Then, share what you learned. Make a reaction video, post, or discussion to help educate others.
