An animation based off a panel reading, created purely for the passion of the game and learning more about video editing, cinematography and animation. I learned alot working on this and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together. (No AI involved)

Official Synopsis - Sunrise on Sanghelios takes place in the immediate aftermath of Halo 5: Guardians and concurrently with moments depicted in the novel Halo: Bad Blood.

Dialogue source: Halo: Sunrise on Sanghelios | HaloWC 2023 ...

This version fixes some of the paint weight errors and balances the audio.

Soundtracks used:
Halo 5 - Blue Team
Halo Infinite - What Makes Us Human
Halo 3 - Were it So Easy

Created using assets from the Halo Archive team and official Halo developer sources. Lit, edited and animated myself using Blender and Filmora. Enjoy!

Seeing cheif and arbiter not as enemies but as brothers

The "Were it so easy" from Master Chief was absolute golden! Great job on this and thank you for giving more interaction between Chief and the Arbiter than they ever did in H3!

I hope that Halo 7 or whatever the next mainline Halo game will be called, that we will see Master Chief and the Arbiter fight together again like they did in Halo 3. And perhaps see Rtas Vadum in a high ranking position within the Sword of Sangheilios.

*sanghelios impressed

It's the same voice actor, (Keith David.), but Arbiter sounds like Admiral Anderson from Mass Effect. 😎

I’m just going to comment this for the algorithm, because YouTube is criminal for not pushing this to more people

see this at the start of infinite or a memory thing or a online prequel video would have been soo fucking cool

I really appreciate that you stuck to Halo 5's art-style for this. Maybe it's not a great style, but it shows a respectable professionalism that you were willing to stick to the creative vision. Many fans would've just used the classic style.

This is just beautiful. The use of the voices from that panel, the camera angles, the lighting... that dap between Arby and Chief gave me 100 years of life. Simply amazing work.

I’d like to imagine chief’s helmet was off during this conversation

I was about ignore this video. I'm glad I actually watched it all the way through. It gave me some closure even though it's not officially in the game.

Chief returning the "Were it so easy" WAS SO FUCKING GOOD. It's my single favorite line in all of the Halo franchise.

The retcon of the retcon was actually good. Well done.

It almost makes me want to play Halo 5. Almost.

In a perfect world this would have been the intro of infinite then a time jump and level one would be the assault of the infinity with atriox beating chief as the level end cutscenes.
