Since it's the holidays, I think we should allow her to skip ahead and react to the Christmas Commercials special....Top 12 Christmas Commercials, let's GOOOOOOOOOOO!

My HS tried to get me to take care of a crying baby doll for Health. I told the teacher in front of everyone, and I quote because I remember it this vividly, "If I hear that doll crying at any time, I will nail it to your office door with a pen through its heart." The teacher let me give a written report instead about pediatrics and baby homecare, which I passed.

Look, I was a high schooler who also ran track and had to tutor others. I needed my sleep, and I was most certainly not about to make a baby anytime soon. I had zero interest in anything save college prep at the time, and I was not failing a year over a dumb crying doll.

And no, I had no chill back then because HS life was stressful.

To be fair with the Transformers commercials the "Pretenders" were never in the cartoon

People in the 80's valued being alone far more than we do. They weren't walking around with a digital leash in their pocket to remind them to stay stimulated and keep interacting with people. In fact, since they weren't getting stimulated every minute of every day, they were well acquainted with their inner monologue and alone vacations like this were objectively desirable.

The kool-aid cooler commercial reminded me of juicy juice "100% juice for 100% kids"

34:17 It's Usagi Yojimbo, which is apparently Japanese for "rabbit bodyguard". It fits, I guess. 😅

Nostalgia Critic's commercial specials are one of my favorite things to rewatch over and over and over

25:47 Shots fired at berrycrepe!

So nostalgia Critic did a halloween special with Teddy Ruxpin and its hilarious

My favorite Pop Tarts are the S’mores although I’m also fond of the chocolate chip, cookies n creme, and wild berry pop tarts.

23:43 "Exploring Nature's pocket",
I've never heard it put like that before

For anyone wondering about the song she's yapping about (at the ~ 30:00 min mark) it's Misery x CPR x Reese's Puffs on youtube. Maroon 5 and Cucakke are the artists and it's a nightcore version of CPR in the that remix.

Usagi Yojimbo has a great comic series.

I like that you bring up when these videos falter in their intended points.

Eating some waffles.

Her taking Doug's jokes 100% serious is my favorite part of these.

I swear, I HAVE at some points gone, "This was good, but I'm social'd out and I need a break." This dates back to a birthday party, MY ninth or tenth birthday party, where everyone's over and some time between either food and cake or cake and presents I've just disappeared upstairs into my room and I've been reading a book about the lives of the saints for 30 minutes. (I think my aunt got me that book. When she asked me which one I wanted to be I said "NONE! They all died young!" Still, pretty interesting read for the time, if a tad disappointing because it had nothing to do with the space shuttle or Star Wars or Star Trek.) This is just something I do; it may be because I'm autistic but I'm not sure it's exclusively that kind of thing.

29:11 It’s a mash between: ‘Misery’ by Maroon 5, the Reese’s Puff theme & ‘CPR’ by Cupcakke

18:48 I remember Lego redid this song during the Lego Club era, I loved being part of it because I got little extra videos and behind the scenes stuff on a DVD I think I still have.

I had to take care of one of those baby dolls in my home ec. class and this one cried and had a counter for the times they were neglected or abused
