Stephen King's Most Terrifying Creatures Ever Put on Screen Explained - Part 2.

Stephen King has created some of fiction's most unforgettable creatures and monsters, but seeing them brought to life on screen can make them even more unsettling.

From the terrifying Saint Bernard in Cujo and the possessed Plymouth Fury in Christine to the creatures of The Shining, the werewolf from Silver Bullet, the deadly machines of Maximum Overdrive, the Mangler, Church and Gage from Pet Sematary, the Boogeyman, and Kurt Barlow from Salem's Lot, this video explores 10 unforgettable Stephen King creatures and how they were brought to the screen.

Some came from King's novels. Others originated in his short stories. And in several cases, the screen adaptation changed how audiences remember the creature forever.

We'll look at what makes each creature so disturbing, the differences between King's original stories and their screen adaptations, and the strange details behind some of Stephen King's most memorable creations.

If you're a fan of Stephen King, horror movies, classic horror, supernatural creatures, movie monsters, and film adaptations, this is a journey through some of his most fascinating creations.

I’m surprised that we haven’t gotten sequals to Christene, Trucks, or Duel those were great Stephen King movies.

The rats in Graveyard Shift are still fresh in my mind, decades after I read that story.

My grandparents had a mangler and I was threatened with corporal punishment if I even thought about touching it. I loved watching my grandma putting the wet clothes through it. Wet when they went in. Almost completely dry, flat and stiff looking on the other side.

The bat rat creature from Nightshift should have been added to this list. You talk about something that will definitely give you freaking nightmare's then that will definitely do that!

Kurt Barlow, the Vampire Master from Salem's Lot, is scary as shit to my opinion because he looks a lot like Voldemort with pointy fangs.

Those hedge animals creep me out. It's like the worse game of Red Light Green Light in reverse but you get killed by them. At least you see what the ghosts what they are doing.

When you get your fist car it’s freedom and an open road
Mom: drive me to the gas station
2 minutes later
Dad: take me to the bar
1 second later
Both parents: we don’t really have time to take your brother to places so from now on you’re driving him to school, and soccer, practice, and his friend’s house.

Which came first, the Topiary Animals or the Weeping Angels?

Does anyone also think that Everett McGill the preacher from Silver Bullet looks like the wrestler Scott Hall? Look up Scott Hall back in 96 or 97 then look at Everett McGill in Silver Bullet and I think you will agree with me lol!!

The topiary animals act just like weeping Angels

I would like Cujo more had Tad not been a little kid. All of the full-grown characters deserved to be chopped up by a rabid animal (well, except for Cujo himself).
