I remember Jade's makeover - it made her look harsher and older (in my opinion), and then she kept getting criticism for looking old. With the benefit of age I can see how intentional it was because she was guaranteed to react with drama.

She was not a pleasant person, but they did do her dirty with her hair.

It will never cease to baffle me how a screen grab from almost any frame from the cameramen will be a better pic of the models than the "Professional Shoot Photo" the show ends up choosing.

TLDR: they’re painting Furonda in a pretty bad light with the list of tips. It’s more like a roommate agreement type of thing. For starters, it’s not “Furonda’s Tips for Success”, it’s “Furonda’s Tips for Successful Interaction”.

Right after furonda says “a list of tips” they show the actual list on screen. It’s a LOT more descriptive than what they say in the little on-screen pop-ups.  For instance, #1 starts “I will respect you and all of your belongings. … I will treat you in an identical way…”   And #2 ends with saying if (you) have an issue with (me) she’s down to talk towards a resolution, and to do anything else would “only cause further problems”.  “Don’t ask me for anything except emergency items”  actually says “If you need anything other than emergency items, please do not [ask me. I am] happy to loan Tylenol, tampons, etc. if I can. [… Do] not ask me for cosmetic items.”
From what I can read for the rest:
4) “Stay out of my business unless I invite you in.”
5) “I think you ladies are probably the best group I c[ould be with]” it cuts off because of blur, and continues, “[let me] know if there are any tips that you can offer me so I [can make this(?)] as enjoyable as possible. Thank you.”

The netflix Katrina doc from last year is pretty well made in terms of exploring the political and racist implications behind some of that displacement. For those who aren't super familiar with what happened, like us Brits, I do recommend it. It's obviously a tough watch in parts
