PM seems intent on making EGOs as relevant as identities. They started this partway through season 7 with threadspin 5s, an increased prevalence of follow-up attacks, and reducing EGO cost (like with the Bladesinger EGO). I think this is a good thing because, for far too long, EGOs felt underwhelming to use.

12:25 Hollowed Man is the abnormality that gives the Grey Coat gift in mirror dungeons, it's the official name since the old name is a fan translation from the datamine

@Mikairium 5 hours ago

looking at that thumbnail makes me realize how monotone colour this season is, literally the only colour this season has is the yellow on repudiation.

The max charge count limit being increased by 5 is probably just there to fix the awkward situation with Callistolu where you can never have 20 charge count for the max S3 conditional due to decay it's niche but it's there

This batch confirms that if you give a nerd a gun EGO, they WILL speedrun MD with it

Hollow faust is a game changer for poise. So much free damage, so many buffs, it's insane

@GalaxyVelocity_Official 3 hours ago

Mirror Touch Rodion makes poise count a non-issue for a thumb nursefather rodion imo

10:09 Thats right Zwei Rodya, also the overclock is excellent.

7:58 while charge/bleed is waiting for Sinclair, i've found ego useful in charge/slash composition.

There are quite a bit of good id's that synergize between eachother.

While the ego itself is blunt it provides charge count without a need for resonance like electric screaming Meursault. That is good to overcap Albina Faust on count for poise through her new WAW and not lose count while running telepole in HE slot(Although Thorachalgia is my personal favourite for that slot still)

Repudiation carried my ass during the Chaplin and Pwie

The fact that you can solo MD using Faust's Hollow EGO in under 10~15mins just shows how OP they rn.

One extra notable use for mirror touch is an id no one cares for or uses, KK rodya, by herself she's frankly kind of ass but in a bloise team she is pretty good, she feels right at home in such a team especially since she has access to sanguine and can inflict a lot of potency

Meta wise not a unit you should consider run perhaps but she is pretty fun to use, her rolls are decent for S1 and S2 and her S3 is really good, along with being able to use it upon counter use

The new rodya EGO is pretty laserfocused for nursefather rodya but at least it does also work well for Haute Coutre rodya, giving some big dmg to an otherwise pretty solely support unit.

At least from my experience, it works very well. But then again I don't have rime shank nor effervecent corrosion, so I don't have a good comparison between its peers' strength.

Havent touched Mirror Dungeon for a while. Really ought to rectify that, these look dope.

the very obviously red sign foreshadowing of a certain negative coin boss ID in the form of hong lu ego:

@ethanvon222 38 minutes ago

Hollow faust actually makes ring faust arguably stronger than ring hong lu on charge, because she actually becomes self-sustaining with poise (so 1.2x damage) and get a high clash move every so often in long fights, and I definitely felt the impact in the canto 10 fights (also faust EGOs are mostly just better than hong lu EGOs, charge definitely isn't missing healing but more healing EGOs definitely help)

@GentleShivers 1 hour ago

Wlu + repudiation + multicliff passive = 15*2 charge barrier, 75*2 shield, max of 30 charge count if shield is untouched

@GutsOfRivia 3 hours ago (edited)

I'm hoping Meursault Seasonal ID will break the recent mould of just being an alternate mirror world of the Cantos antagonist and be something original like Hollowed Man EGO gear. But it's probably just gonna be Chaplain Meursault.
