I Randomized The Entire Hunters Journal

Skurry

Hollow Knight Randomizer continues to get more and more crazy. There is now an extension to the randomizer that allows the randomization of every enemy in the journal, for both their entry and their hunters notes. This also includes settings for Void Idol and Weathered Mask, which I have left on with no duplicates, let's see how it goes.

For anyone who didn’t watch the full streams, the players shade, Nosk, I believe the doll in Bretta’s home, and some other things all have been customized for the mantis skin. The devil works hard but northflowo works harder lol

The fact that the sly boss fight had shopkeepers key, and that sly also was selling oro and matos journal entry is so fitting

Can we all just appreciate the person who made the mantis skin and actually took the time to do all the special stuff like the void idol and the part where you slap radiance? Usually HK skins don't do all the other stuff like that, just the player abilities and movement and such.

I like to imagine that the story behind this video being that the baby mantis is going to be the next mantis lord, but as a test of strength they were told to defeat one of every creature in the land. The test was actually to defeat regular enemies, but the baby mantis took it to literally and decided to go on a quest to kill literally everything.

for those wondering cause it took me a moment to realise, the reason they had to do P3 for white defender is because dung defender doesn't go to sleep until you have all 3 dreamers!

When I saw the title of the video I thought this would randomize the actual text in the entries themselves in some way but this is definitely way way funnier

Tbh, I really like this setting in particular. It makes killing general enemies rewarding, which I feel it's something that usually doesn't happen.

You know what would go well with this?

Lemm Randomizer should be next. So Lemm gives you different rewards for relics. So Lemm could give you “eg” or entry instead of money. I want to see the world burn.
